I'm still not sure if this kid is a big thing or not. He has talent and is a good hustling kid, but there are also holes in his game. He is relatively slow footed and has shed problems. ND played a lot of shield fronts and kept the blockers off him. He had a lot of tackles and got in a lot of plays. but I saw a couple games where the opponents got blockers on him and he had a ton of shed issues. Pitt and (of course) Bama handled Teo pretty easily in their games.

He gets in the action and had 7 picks last season. That's definitely in his favor, but can he cover NFL TE's and RB's? That's still in question.

All this "scandal" shit will fade and it will knock him down a round or two. It will take NFL game action to see if this kid is a pro ILB.

Reporting of this story is much different in Hawaii. Teo is a very trusting person that is naive.

IMO, Manti was victimized by a sick sophisticated sophmoric hoax. In Hawaii there is always much jealousy/resentment with success on the national and international level. There is saying in Hawaii about the not allowing the crab in the bucket to escape and hitting down the nail that sticks out.

Samoans place a huge emphasis on family and community. The Tuiasosopo family will release the truth which imo ultimately ends Teo's shame.
