Urlacher still needs a job and I still need a new Viking to make fun of since Percy left.

I don't mind ribbed......we're all cool. I only get slightly wound up when someone isn't paying any attention to reality.Originally posted by gbpackfan View PostWow, you took such little shit all night long for you to throw in the jab is comical. If any of us went to purplepride we would be roasted without mercy. I think you have it pretty good over here. And I have NO PROBLEM with you. You seem like a great poster. I'm just surprised you are surprised that you are going to get ribbed a little bit over here.

Wasn't Jenkins like 290 coming out of college though? I seem to remember him getting bigger his first couple of years. I don't know much about Jones, but I did read a bio that said that he has room to put on good weight.Originally posted by red View Postjones-283

BIG difference"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Jones is a new look, they don't really have anyone else like that. Maybe when Capers hangs up his lego hair after the year is over Winston Moss is going to step in and run us a multiples defense. Who knows. Won't be hard to get him on the field though.70% of the Earth is covered by water. The rest is covered by Al Harris.

Watch your math max... you know full well 1+1+1 = 3.Originally posted by pbmax View PostPick and Raji rotate at NT and Datone and Neal rotate at 5 opposite Wilson?
When's the last time Capers put 3 DL on the field at the same time??
Raji on the field for just about every snap - and Jones will join him in the 2 man front when Capers feels the need to "go big".wist

I should also maybe realize that the person is serious but a moron. I sometimes assume people are just tying to stir up shit rather than talk real football. They could be serious.

Tyler Dunne featured Jones a couple of days ago. http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packe...204413231.htmlI can't run no more

I think so also. I think he made a mistake on Patterson. He's an athlete, but not a receiver. I don't like receivers that have to learn how to run routes and catch after getting to the pros. He reminds me of Troy Williamson. I like the Rhodes pick. I think Floyd is worth taking a chance on. Spielman has a blind spot for Ponder though, and I think it might come back to haunt him. You can be a great GM, but if you make a mistake at QB, it will likely cost you your job. You never know. Guys like Ponder (and even Gabbert) could turn into good QBs. Ponder has no excuse this year. A good OL, Peterson, Rudolph, and Jennings are enough for a good QB to make work.Originally posted by Bretsky View PostI too think the Vikes GM is doing a good job"There's a lot of interest in the draft. if he can add 10 pounds or so, and not lose anything, then he'll be a good pickupOriginally posted by HarveyWallbangers View PostWasn't Jenkins like 290 coming out of college though? but i would be a lot more comfortable with him if he was 290-295ish

He did take just a little grief, gbpf, but that is because for a lot of us old-timers Ras is like family. Family that roots for the wrong team, but family none-the-less. I think you have been here long enough to know that. He's good people.Originally posted by gbpackfan View PostWow, you took such little shit all night long for you to throw in the jab is comical. But some of the grief he started to take at the end of the night was just kinda gratuitous and not funny. Notice that Red for instance took one opening shot and then one more shot at one of the picks. But all of Red's other material was serious, informative (or funny) and treated a visiting poster with some respect. If the ratio of unfunny smack is 1:1 with actual discussion, it kinda depresses the mood.
I am not picking on you BTW. But others seemed to have a snootful working.
If Ras was Bearman or DaBaddestBear, then they deserve to be treated like the trolls they post as. Ras doesn't play that game.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

TT created the front seven mess... now he's having to throw hail mary's at it just to get some bodies on the field.Originally posted by 3irty1 View PostAbout 25% of the time last year.
Last year's draft entirely dedicated to defense - now our 1st round pick this year... and we're still super shitty!!!wist
