Maybe that's why the players protested against knee and thigh pads. They didn't want to ruin their model figures.

I am seriously concerned about last year's pick being a bad fith though
We've had WAY too many f'ck ups in round one
It sounds like was got one right....which hasn't seemed to happen in a while

Maybe check out some other team's first rounders and see if they have a hit rate that high.Originally posted by 3irty1This is museum quality stupidity.

Yup, not sure why a popular train of thought is that TT can't draft in the first.Originally posted by Zool View PostPerry

From that, I'd look at 6 players, ignoring Sherrod and Perry for now. There is only one sure bust in Harrell, and one player we would like to have seen more out of in Hawk, but he's still with the team going into his 8th season. That is more than offset by two perennial pro-bowlers.--

I think Bretsky is confusing Ron Wolf with Ted Thompson. Wolf had his share of problems with first round picks. Of course, when you generally picking late in the first round, it's even more of a crapshoot."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Every training camp sensation needs a nickname. So, for right tackle David Bahktieri, I nominate this:
David Bahkteria.
Because his enthusiasm and blocking are infectious."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

he looks fine to me
I just saw some clips on ESPN of Lacy running the ball. To me he doesn't look as heavy as the infamous picture that started the furor, but he looks heavier than the pick that you posted. He's not Lendale White, but I'd say he's a little heavier than he was at Alabama. Not a big deal as long as he doesn't get any bigger.I can't run no more

Well, fucking thank you for picking at that scab...got any lemon juice??Originally posted by red View Posti don't care that he looks fat in a couple of pictures.
the thing that pisses me off the most is every time i see i picture of him i think i'm seeing t-buck in green and gold again
sends chills down my spine

And don't worry about Datone. Always thought he looked explosive, as opposed to Perry who I think looks like he is running in quicksand. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi
