Does it? It was a non-pads practice, what is the team allowed to do to evaluate a player's readiness?

And what the hell is up with TWill? No news on him at all.

Great day kicking for both. Each missed one, although there were conflicting signals on one of Tavecchio's makes.

      Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 1m
      Both kickers make from 34, 39, 47,53,55. Crosby 9-10. Tavecchio 8-10

ONE OF GEORGIO'S KICKS CAME OFF A HIGH SNAP AND THERE SEEMED TO BE A REDO ACCORDING TO SOME, THAT IS WHAT SPOON IS REFERRING TO
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

      • Jolly bats down 300 passes today. At this rate, it won't matter that he doesn't get pressure because he'll just close down half of the passing lanes.

Two kicking periods for #Packers. Crosby 4-5, Tavecchio 3-5 in first; both 5-5 in second. Crosby 9-10 (50 miss), Sergio 8-10 (41, 50 miss).

Jermichael Finley with the catch of the day. Stretches out on the run for a big gain, from Rodgers.

BIGGER AND TOUGHER WORKS! WITH TEs!

Newhouse work one rep at LT with starting line. Now in with twos. Datko at RT

I WISH SOMEONE COULD GIVE AN ANALYTIC LOOK AT HOW TEAMS ASSIGN POSITION AND PRACTICE REPS BECAUSE CAMPEN IS DRIVING ME NUTS

Harrell back to back completions deep middle to Walker and Williams.

            BIGGER AND STRONGER

In base, for the defense, M.D. Jennings starting at safety and Micah Hyde still out wide at corner.

CAN'T SEE HYDE WIDE IN REGULAR SEASON BUT SOMEONE HAS TO GET HEALTHY AND/OR PLAY BETTER

            Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 9m
Hyde picks off Vince Young after ball pops out of Justin Wilson's hands. Hyde is always around the ball.

YOU CANNOT STOP HIM, ONLY HOPE TO CONTAIN HIM

Johnny Jolly leaps for another tip himself but this one is caught by Myles White. Still, he gets his hands on a lot.

HE TAUGHT JJ WATT EVERYTHING HE KNOWS. WELL, HOPEFULLY NOT EVERYTHING. BOTH THESE PLAYS WERE JOLLY TIPS

Not in pads but DuJuan Harris running hard today. Probably gets a long look against Seattle this week.

              WHY IS HE BEING PUNISHED?

Jolly another pass batted down. The guy is a machine.

              • MCCARTHY, MONDAY THE 19TH

                Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 5m
MM on skipping no huddle: I thought the work we got done today was needed. We can be flexible. Today we corrected the tape, install for SEA

                Jason Wilde ‏@jasonjwilde 5m
McCarthy on if he's picked a right tackle: "No jobs have been won today."

                Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 5m
MM on Barclay at RT: No jobs have been won yet. We need to play better as a football team. I thought OL as whole played better than ARI

                Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 5m
MM: James Nixon didn't finish game due to knee and ankle. Mulligan has elbow injury. Challenged to go this week

                Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 4m
MM: DuJuan Harris and Eddie Lacy like to see them touch football and be productive. Lacy did good things in STL but he has a lot more ahead

                Packer Report ‏@PackerReport 4m
Beyond running ball, MM pointed out a couple chip blocks by Lacy in run game. Wants to see Lacy and Harris "do the little things."

                Tyler Dunne ‏@TyDunne 4m
McCarthy on Lacy: See Eddie clean up details of his work. Did very well at St. Louis. Has a lot more in front of him.

                Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 2m
MM: Quarless returned to practice in limited fashion. Hopefully he can progress through week. Good timeline to get back onto field this wk

                Packer Report ‏@PackerReport 2m
Hyde given opportunities to make plays and he did...will get more chances on punt returns this week.

                Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 1m
MM: Run-D has been good first 2 games. Think we were 10-0 to start game as far as wins-losses. First one came out but overall grade was high

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1m
MM: I thought run defense has been very good. We were 10-0 first 10 runs against Ariz. Had one break open against Stl. Fits were good.

                Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 1m
MM: I liked the way Mason Crosby has responded since Family Night. He's stroking football with more consistency. He has tremendous leg speed

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1m
MM: Third game is a dress rehearsal. But with new CBA we still need more information on the players on this team. Not as much a rehearsal...

                Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 2m
MM: When I look at QB rooms, it's a better room since Vince Young came in here. Minute he walked in, B.J. and Graham picked it up. Evident

HE'S A LEADER, NOT LIKE THAT JERK AARON RODGERS!!!

                    • Jolly has incredible awareness of when the QB is going to release the ball, he has always gotten a lot of batted passes. I wonder how he does it?

                          • Made my day to see Hayward, Datone, Quarless, Taylor, and Harris all back in some capacity today. Also, with news indicating Nelson is on track for the season opener, this team looks to be getting somewhat healthy. Fingers crossed.
