I thought Kuhn was out too, but didn't see his name in McCarthy's cooments? Anyone?

Kuhn was a no go with a hamstring.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

This belongs in the 'where are they now' thread, but was he even in a camp this fall? If not, the Packers had two RBs on the team last year that are now retired (Benson as well)...I guess it was time to draft some new bodies!

I say trade with the Jets to get Alex Green back. Send them Terry Mickens and a conditional 8th rounder. If necessary, sweeten the deal with Lane Taylor, but I suppose the Jets won't be dumb enough to go for the sweetner.

Anybody know anything about Fernando Velasco? He didn't seem half bad Monday night against the Bengals. Maurkice Pouncey goes down one week and the Steelers immediately sign Velasco. He started 16 games last year for the Titans. I'm wondering why Thompson wasn't interested.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

                    I thought he was terrible.

You guys do know the Bengals only have three healthy CBs and one of them was recently signed and only played STs? Kirkpatrick is out, Adam Jones is hobbled by a hip injury. Even if Rodgers is sacked four times, they will win by at least two touchdowns. I was super doom and gloom before the 49ers game, but this one won't be close IMO.

except the road can do strange things to a team and Cincy has a nice mismatch to take advantage of with their D-line. Overall, I like the Pack's chances, they are the better team.

I think there is room for one more crib-crapping before we hit our stride and go 10-1 the rest of the season. Cincinnati is a team we have no business losing to.

Sorry, Captain Kickass, I mean, to whom we have no business losing, which means that we just might make it our business so to do, chagrining us and leading to the rending of garments and the gnashing of teeth prior to the Great Fun Run of 2013.
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

                            That's basically no change, Mish.

Terrance Newman and Leon Hall are the starters in base.

In the nickel Pac Jones takes the split end and Hall covers the slot guy.

Kirkpatrick has been nursing that fucking hammy since he got to town for OTA's two springs ago.

I'd love to se a GBP blowout, but this is a tough roadie, lots of shit could go down in this matchup.

This game will be more about the Bengals than it is us IMO. Rodgers and company will put up 24+ points on a good Bengal defense. The question is can Dalton play well enough to take advantage of the talent around him to find the holes in our defense? He looked very mediocre on Monday night...it worries me that he'll actually show up on Sunday and be accurate for a change.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!
