No mention of Sitton's back. I assume he's ok?
Lacy is more likely to dress than Kuhn...hmm...I think they go with Starks, Franklin, Cobb and Quarless as their backfield. Yikes. Stay healthy, Jim.

        Burnett didn't play last week.

House ascendant; also probably doesn't hurt that Williams has a lingering groin tweak, as Holmgren used to say.

House will be outside with Shields and Tramontana in the slot against the Bengals. Its seems like this is Whitt's preferred alignment even if injuries weren't an issue. Will be interesting to see what Hayward's return will do. Though I think the dime defense will have about the best 4 CB lineups in the League.

Williams suffered a flare up in his groin on Friday and is listed as probable to play, but the indication is he’ll be a full-go against the Bengals with the secondary looking to tap into his knowledge bank inside at times.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I don't want to be a broken record, but if they give Dalton time to find receivers, he'll find them, probably over the middle like the 9ers and Redskins did.

It's time for Capers to throw caution to the wind and unleash the Kraken. I'd like to see Matthews and Perry live in their backfield.

              Fixed.

I hate to say it, but I see a cinci win and much gnashing of teeth going into the bye.

Nope, I had a dream last night about the game. The pack get up 65-28 and the network switches to a different game early in the 3rd quarter. About 30 minute later they switch back because it is now 65-61 after James Jones fumbles and Cin returns for a TD.

Pack win 72-68 as Arod brings the pack back with a late score. Arod is interviewed after the game as says that if you have to put up 70 points to win you don't deserve to win.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I know. I just have a bad feeling about this game. Cinci has the offensive tools and the talent in the trenches to win, especially at home.

And every year, isn't there a stretch in which the Pack loses a game people think they "shouldn't" lose, and everyone goes bonkers with anxiety and frsutration? I think I'd like to get that out of the way sooner rather than later this year. Though I'd prefer a Pack win today.

As I said on GameDay First, Amendola's groin tear is off the bone. Good news? He can't hurt it worse, which is why he practiced this week.

Ow, ow, OWW! Still he's no Jack Youngblood.

                          Me, too Fritz.

There is a ton of stuff to worry about that I don't see covered anywhere, the net or media.

The Bengals now have the outstanding TE duo in the league. Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert are the real deal. they lead the league for TE dup production by quite a margin. Gresham has been to two Pro Bowls and Eifert is a #1 pick from ND. these two boys are out to give our ratty ass safety corp nightmares.

AJ Green is a total bitch to cover for any secondary. I'm really paranoid because he's coming back after a terrible outing vs Pitt. the good ones play better when they are pissed.

I'm glad Marvn Jones the other WR is dinged, but the other WR Mo Sanu is fast and physical and can really burn teams when singled up in cover.

A rookie RB, Giovani Bernard is on the verge of stardom. He's like a young Ray rice with jets. He smoked PB with a little jet route that left the D in it's tracks. Our ILB corp will have to pick him up.

The last match-up dilemma is the Bengals rush line. Everybody talks about Geno Atkins. We'll have to double him. The Bengals DE's are also first rate. Carlos Dunlap is tall and fast with savage hands. I hope Barclay can hang on against this guy. The other DE is Michael Johnson. He has a big game about every 3 games. He hasn't played well in the first 2. He's very tall and athletic. I'm hopin' Bach can show he belongs and handle this tall SB.

Well, I'll be there. Look for the old guy 18 rows behind the Packer bench. Lombardi hat, Nitschke Jersey, cute 27 year old blonde beside me. Don't worry Snake, it's me daughter.

I'm so nervous I could cry.

The Bengals shouldn't be taken lightly, but they only have 2 sacks total in the first two games. It will be difficult to contain their TE's and AJ Green, but in a shootout, we should win.

Ahh, who cares if they lose. Packers have a very good team that will make the playoffs.

I'm glad to be entertained by a challenging game. Eat drink and be merry, for tomorrow you may die.

I think the Packers will win because the Bengals are an AFC team with funny uniforms.
