I did post this before the game, but they were too cautious with Lacy. They could've made him active for the game, and use him only as an emergency 3rd RB if needed (which was needed for a few plays on the last drive). Ultimately, this was not the major cause for the loss so its a moot point."In the time of chimpanzees, I was a monkey."

You can't unless he is cleared by the independent neurologist. While the Packers have no reason to tell us what the exact status is, we also have NO reason to believe he has been cleared. The only hurdle he cleared this week we know for certain was attending practice.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I'd love to see it because McCarthy was on record Monday and Wednesday that he still had hurdles to clear. Trainers do not have the last word.Originally posted by packer4life View PostI can almost guarantee he was held for "precautionary reasons". He could've played if needed. Trainers on Monday said he would be good to go. I don't have the article, but that info was definintely given to us readers.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I hope this game puts to rest the notion that Jeremy Ross returning kickoffs and punts is a good idea. One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Turnovers killed them today. If Rodgers throws one less INT I think they win. The Franklin fumble left me gobsmacked and apoplectic. 4th and half yard and they give up a TD. The Ross fumble was costly too.
If it wasn't the turnovers, it was the injuries. Losing Finley, Matthews, Starks, etc. to go along with those already out really hurt their chances.
Woulda shoulda coulda.
The Bengals' DL won that game -- Rodgers was off most of the game. Gotta give them credit
Seems like the refs were calling a weird game, and when the Bengals HC actually win a meaningful challenge you know the stars are not aligned for a Packers win.
Sigh. They have 2 weeks to get ready for the Lions, get healthy, and be mad as hell about being 1-2.

That 4th down play was a back-breaker. But the 4th down play that ended the game for the Packers was equally critical. 4th and 5 at the Bengals 20. A couple of passes already batted down. Why didn't Rodgers roll out? By doing so he virtually eliminates the possibility of a pass being batted away...plus he has the option of running.Originally posted by run pMc View PostTurnovers killed them today. I wondered the same thing on the 4th and 1/2 yard play. Fake the Franklin dive and then have Rodgers roll out.
Stubby was imagination-challenged this game. One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. If Cobb gains an extra inch this game is a Packers W and we all leave feeling the offense was balanced and the defense was finally popping out some footballs and making big plays (i.e. turnovers). A true game of inches, I'm so spent thinking about this one.Originally posted by run pMc View PostTurnovers killed them today. If Rodgers throws one less INT I think they win. You're like the Cliff Clavin of packerrats.comOriginally posted by pbmax View PostHe always makes good points when the Packers lose. Its the other 67% of the time he seems to have nothing to say.
An arrogant, pompous, know it all. You have an opinion on EVERYTHING! And I mean EVERYTHING.!! You are simply just an asshole who gives out mostly useless opinion and information.
I bet you still live with your mother too.

I hope this game puts to rest the notion that turning the ball over 4 times is a good idea.I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

Funny, I think a poster who shows up 124 times to predict gloom, and defines gloom as not winning a championship is the one who wants to be branded a know it all. Same as wist, predicting a non-championship year after year as evidence for multiple failures of a team is a winning bet 90% of the time. Everyone else is happy with mediocrity!
How about you say something (about the team and not posters) that is not blindingly obvious (Rodgers needs to play better!, the O line is a mess!) and has not been said better by every other poster on the forum since the offseason.
You think you are telling some kind of revelatory truth to power (or maybe asking us to face fact) but who you really are is the guy who showed up on December 8th, 1941 warning that the Japanese might be planning something.
Otherwise, good luck with your trolling.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
