cobb returning would be almost as big. That's another dynamic weapon on offense for whoever is throwing the rock. Just sucks ass that our young stud RB likely won't be a factor. That's just how the season has gone. Get one piece back another one falls.

"Not putting this game all on Aaron's shoulders" --- good thing M3 - it's still a little fragile. The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

Green Bay Packers @packers 8s
Practice participation: Rodgers full; Neal, Perry, Pickett, Quarless limited; B. Jones, Lacy, Taylor DNP; Matthews out. That's all.

Good none-answer re: the final 10 seconds. Much as it makes you crazy, it's water under the bridge and there is no point in devoting energy to it.Originally posted by pbmax View PostWes Hodkiewicz @WesHod 1m

Aaron Schatz @FO_ASchatz 2mOriginally posted by pbmax View PostBingo. Recalculate those playoff odds Football Outsiders.
Based on the dif in GB's wei off DVOA now and when he went out, Rodgers healthy changes GB playoff odds from 33% to 48%.
< 50% still seems wrong, but...
I guess GB has to win outright. They can't tie.
Still, I'll be surprised if GB is not favored to win now. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro ~Hunter S.

Adding Rodgers just ups our chances provided he can stay on the field. The bears offense sucked last week but they've been good all season. Our defense vs Forte, Marshall, Jefferies, and Bennett is a terrible matchup for us. We are likely going to need to put up a huge number to win this game.
MM had better not get pass happy just because he's got Rodgers back. This bears team has been gashed in the run game as badly as we have recently. Whether it's Lacy, Starks, or Bell we need to run run run and utilize the play action pass and the quick passing game to protect Rodgers from an O-line that can't pass protect for shit.
I'm certainly not going to sit here and feel much better about the game sunday. I feel a little better but the defense needs to at least create some turnovers if we're going to win.

Yeeeee Hawwaaaa !!
Holy cow, best news in 52 days.
By far the very best PR move the Green Bay Packers had to make. All the rest will disappear with this news.
WOW ! Don't ever sit at the same Texas Holdem table where Aaron Rodgers sits !!
All that disappears !
I took a small nap as I awoke early this Boxing day. When I awoke it just hit me like a slap in the puss. He's coming back !! That felt so real and when I got downstairs sure enough NFL Access was doing two things .
i) Replaying the huge comeback win in Dallas (again)
ii) Releasing 'breaking news'. That It was just in that Packers HC Mick McCarthy had announced that Aaron Rodgers is back and will start Sunday Vs the Chicago Bears.
If we get Randall Cobb back and Eddie Lacy can remain on his feet we get by the Bears Sunday Dec. 29, and scare the 'H' out of any team that has to play us in round one of the playoffs.
I just jumped in the air and shouted out to Mae:
The PACK is now ...BACK !
This Packer fan is excited !

Trust your corners and get after Cutler. Cutler is mostly tunnel vision on Marshall - he's his first read and he stays on him pretty long. Cover him up and make sure you have awareness that if you go all man, that Cutler will look for the check down and sneak. Make sure you send an extra guy to clobber Cutler. You want him on the bike, but not before the fourth quarter. McCown comes in and then you need to plaster everyone.Originally posted by Packers4Glory View PostAdding Rodgers just ups our chances provided he can stay on the field.
