That last scramble from Kap shows how the Packers win with a healthy LB in the middle of the field instead of injured Mulumba. Kuechly forced him out after 8 yards after DE lost contain on pass rush.

The officials changed the complexion of this game big time. By allowing the Boldin headbutt (that they called on carolina not 1 hour earlier) and then ignoring the carolina guys pointing out the 12 men in the huddle they sent carolina to the locker room feeling like they aren't given a fair chance. Its showing in the body language and the results on the field.Originally posted by pbmax View PostBoldin with a nice, never called cheap shove. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

Ha. They showed the replay of that earlier in the game and it was painful watching Mulumba power-limp after Kap. I also noticed that Gore had a hold on Bush, but the Packers got away with their share in the game, so I can't complain too much.Originally posted by pbmax View PostThat last scramble from Kap shows how the Packers win with a healthy LB in the middle of the field instead of injured Mulumba. Our D held the 9ers better than the carolina D is. I think they will finish with over 23 points.Originally posted by oldbutnotdeadyet View PostThe tackling just looks so much crisper/cleaner, on both teams, as compared to the packers. Same as Badger whining over Pac 12 refs. You have to prepare so as not to rely on the refs. Forget about it, move on.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Weather is same for both and harder for defense in pursuit. Easier for O that knows where its feet are going.Originally posted by Rutnstrut View PostPackers D was aided by crappy weather.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Apparently only 3 companies sprang for commercials during this game and they're rotating them. McDonald's 'Whaaaat', Budweiser Crown with 'fire roasted caramel malt' and the a Nissan SUV running over snowmen. Oh, and a promo for True Detective. Just about lost my mind during SF's last drive with three timeouts.--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...

carolina wasn't allowed to play the game their way since the first whistle. panthers came out fired up and aggresive, and ticky tack call after ticky tack call took the steam right out of them imoOriginally posted by pbmax View PostLet me quote McCarthy: Losing mentality.

either that was the greatest jump off the edge of all time, or it was an uncalled offsides on san fran. de took 2 steps before the ball was even snapped
