But Rodgers is a Cali guy. Only lives in Wisconsin during the season. Sorry, but the reason our D held them in check is because the officials only called a couple penalties on our DB's who were acting like they were Richard Sherman the whole game. Devon House is going to sign with Seattle in the offseason based on that game. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

It is. But everyone knows, from pee-wee on up that the retaliator gets the flag. Even siblings know that.Originally posted by bobblehead View PostOr are the officials in the Panthers head? Yea, I was joking. It should have been a no flag because there was simply no way the defender could have avoided the contact. Next tactic is going to be QB's head diving into defenders helmets to steal a call....sort of like the flop in the NBA.Originally posted by red View Postexactly, but it will never, EVER be called that wayThe only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

Never heard that call before, I think he said "unnecessary roughness, attempting to strike and opponent'.
Watched this one to the end, really thought someone from Carolina was going to goon an SF player!--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...

I was referring to the headbutt non call on Boldin when the ref was 2 feet away. That was simply not calling something you called carolina for earlier.Originally posted by pbmax View PostIt is. But everyone knows, from pee-wee on up that the retaliator gets the flag. Even siblings know that.
Incidentally to follow through on my conspiracy theory, the NFL really wants Brady/Manning. Rivers and the Chargers will get hosed by the officials this game. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

I DVR the games and then blow through them in 20-25 minutes. I know what happens, and I only have to suppress the gag reflex for 20-25 minutes (hell, that might beat Harlan's record!).Originally posted by red View Post

Yep, one way or another the "National Fixed League" is going to have their wet dream matchups for the championship games next week.Originally posted by bobblehead View PostI was referring to the headbutt non call on Boldin when the ref was 2 feet away. Was it the same ref? Because that is not normally called in face to face confrontations. I think the first call was ridiculous. The second non-call sound.Originally posted by bobblehead View PostI was referring to the headbutt non call on Boldin when the ref was 2 feet away. I would not be opposed to outlawing it specifically just to avoid escalation, but that would be in future games.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Right. As though the 49ers weren't obviously superior to Carolina. Had to be a fix for them to win that game. Same goes for Seattle - NO was obviously better, but the NFL wants it's dream matchup. Funny how all the co-conspirators never ever reveal or let slip one shred of proof of their nefarious misdeeds. They probably are as careful as the guys who rigged the World Trade Center with explosives on 9/11.Originally posted by SMBASS View PostYep, one way or another the "National Fixed League" is going to have their wet dream matchups for the championship games next week."Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand.
