        Jason Verrett
        School: TCU
        Position: CB
Positive: Junior-college transfer who started three seasons at TCU, winning either all-America or all-conference honors each season. Posted 39 tackles, 2 INTs, and 14 PBUs as a senior. Junior totals included 63 tackles, 6 INTs, and 16 PBUs. Skilled cornerback with marginal size for the next level. Shows terrific awareness, recognizes routes in zone coverage, and works well with teammates. Fluid and quick flipping his hips to transition with opponents, displays great instincts, and has a burst to the action. Consistently positions himself to defend the throw and stays step for step with receivers everywhere. Both quick and fast, possesses a sense of timing, and climbs over opponents to knock away passes. Works to keep the action in front of him, fights hard to defend the throw, and wraps up when tackling.

Negative: Not a big-bodied cornerback, physically beaten out by opponents, and outpositioned by average-sized receivers. Occasionally bites on receiver moves.

Analysis: From a football perspective Verrett is the most complete cornerback in this year's draft offering the speed, ball skills, and instincts necessary to start at the next level. His lack of height makes him scheme specific and will turn a few teams away. In the proper system, Verrett will surely have a productive career at the next level.

No thank you and i am a Wisconsin alum. He needs to be in a 4-3.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

You think? MLB in a 4-3 usually gets a Center, Guard or FB in his face. Could he play weakside in 4-3?

They could run Jimmy Johnson defense and use him like Zach Thomas.

I think they did a GREAT JOB

They fleeced Buffalo for about five spots to move up....took the Bills 1st next year, then drafted the best QB in the draft and then got their QB.....great job

what did Cleveland give up ? I'm happy we stood pat and got Dix but that deal coudl have been ours

Along with the #Browns, the #Vikings are making calls and exploring their options. Could also trade into the first for a QB.

he was projected to be an OLB in the 3-4

and GB was said to be very interested in him a couple moths ago

                            • Well, Clinton-dix instantly improves our defense. Our safetly play has been atrocious. He breaks down in space well and tackles. I guess thats my favorite attribute. Other than that, hes just solid all the way around. I do think safety play, especially free safety play, ismvery important in todays NFL. We got better. Hes probably the surest safety in this class. Safe, good player. i wanted more of a splash pick, but this was our biggest need and its filled with a rock solid player.
