One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

That list is pretty old, Pug.Originally posted by Pugger View Post
5 years or so.
The White boys are mainly safeties.
I don't know of a White corner, no starter anyway.
Sehorn was the last of the Mohican's.
Weddle is the best White DB in the league.
Not that I notice, not that I'm counting, not that I care, etc, etc.

That's surprising. You'd think that people that are used to picking for a living would be good at coming up with picks.Originally posted by Maxie the Taxi View PostHere is a list of Mexican DBs:I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

Pretty sure there aren't any. Gregory, Leonard, Weddle, none of the guys in the list played any corner.Originally posted by KYPack View PostThat list is pretty old, Pug.

I think this is the truth. It is going to be a high scoring game.Originally posted by Maxie the Taxi View PostMore challenges GB will face next Sunday: Head Coach Chip Kelly and his no huddle offense. Kelly is an elite coach. Stubby is going to have to be at the top of his game. The Eagles play fast and Stubby can't afford his characteristic brain farts. Plus, Capers' defense is going to be pressed by the no huddle, even with a new guy at QB. Adjustments are going to have to be on the fly and substitutions will be limited.
On the other side of the coin, the Packers play a pretty fair game of no huddle offensive themselves which will stress the Eagles' defense.
Talk about a recipe for a high scoring game.
I was just looking at the PHI schedule and they have beat JACK, IND (when Indy was struggling at the beginning of the season), WASH, STL, NYG, HOU and CAR. Only one good team out of all of those in my eyes. They have lost to SF and ARI.
This should be a game that shows who is ready to make a run at the playoffs and who isn't.But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

That was my thought too. A few safeties but no corners. That list doesn't have the Notre Dame guy playing in MN even.Originally posted by Guiness View PostPretty sure there aren't any. This will be one game Hawk earns his check by just getting the right defense called.
OK, he won't be the only one getting signals. http://www.packersnews.com/story/spo...code/19008349/
On Sunday, every Packers defensive player will get the call from sideline signals, rather than from the more conventional source, A.J. Hawk, who has the defense's helmet speaker.Last edited by pbmax; 11-14-2014, 10:45 AM.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Getting to Sanchez and rattling him is going to be a key in this game. Everyone says he knows the offense, but how well does he know it? I think he'll make some critical mistakes if he's under pressure and has to improvise.--

It's one thing for the Seattle defense + Wilson, the Detroit defense + Stafford or Drew Brees to beat the Pack. It's another for Mark fucking Sanchez to do it.Originally posted by Guiness View PostGetting to Sanchez and rattling him is going to be a key in this game. For this past infraction, Philly should forfeit this weeks game. All hail the Ruler of the Meadow!

Not having Hawk in there every down makes sense against the Eagles. But hand signals make me nervous of playcalling hijinx...
If we win this game, we have about a 50% chance to secure a bye. Lose it and we have about a 50% chance to sneak into the playoffs. It's definitely a more important game for GB than Philly.Last edited by smuggler; 11-14-2014, 12:27 PM.

Isn't that what the Eagles do on D? They have different cards they hold up to indicate alignment, etc?Originally posted by pbmax View PostThis will be one game Hawk earns his check by just getting the right defense called.
