It's a bad route by Janis...but the playcall does stink when you should be throwing that up in the back of the endzone for your tall WR.

Bas route. Another example of his running to open space rather than route. DB ran the route. If Janis is close but outside of him, its on his hands.

The QB cannot release the ball on time with a route like that.
