Gutenkist was also one of three they name who got second interviews. The third was George Paton. Gutenkist is supposed to still be in the running.

Bobbo says Wolf was told no by 49ers.

Sources said Eliot Wolf, the team’s director of football operations, pulled out of the running for the vacant general manager’s position in San Francisco when it became apparent that he wasn’t going to be hired.
The Packers retained one front-office executive in personnel Thursday but stand a good chance of losing another next week to the 49ers.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Gutekunst is how you spell Brian's name and he is getting a second interview. Wolf had one scheduled as well, but it became apparent they had fallen for Gutekunst and he withdrew.

I'm not sure being hired by the 49ers would be considered a great job with Jed York in charge.

seems like i read, or heard, that people are being warned off that organization after their recent ridiculous behavior.

              Coaching wisdom from Burnsey.

Burnsey was on Lombardi's staff at GB.

VTL frowned on the use of the "F" word, so I guess Jerry was getting in all the "fucks" he missed in GB

I was just glancing at headlines when this story came out on the JSO site, and I read "Elliot Wolf Pulls Out." I wondered why they were covering his personal life so closely.

I don't think there were good prospects for a long-term relationship there. Staying in could end up costing him a lot of money down the road.

And there you have it. Ron must have instilled the fear of alimony in young Eliot.

                            Good riddance, perhaps.

While Eliot Wolf agreed to a new deal with the Packers, that contract would not preclude him from interviewing for a GM role as Colts have

colts are pretty disfunctional too but at least they have a qb.
