Joe Thomas is playing really, really well. And he's been there longer. That has something to do with it.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Is it just me or does Buck try to jinx the Pack by bringing up obscure, "I could care less" statistics? Like Arod's TD streak w/o an INT just when the Cowboys need a TO to get back in the game. Or like mentioning the record for comebacks by teams down 18 points.

And I don't know where to put this, but I'm not feeling the love this AM. I turn on the NFL Channel and it's a Cowgirls lovefest. "Team of the future." "Dak and Zeke will be even better next year." All the game film focuses on Dallas #88 beating Gunter for a TD. Or Dak celebrating his own heroics. Then I look at the front page and there it is: Cowboys Loss Equals A Slump In Super Bowl Ticket Prices.

Well, excuse us for beating Dallas and ruining your day, pardners. Nevermind that the Pack went into the house of the "best" team in the NFL and beat them with a banged up defense and backups in the secondary.

            Oh well. Next stop Atlanta!

P.S. As for Arod's throw...I'm a guy who can pass a football maybe 20 yards max on a good day. Arod is on the run and in a split second flicks the ball downfield, what, 30 yards and puts the ball in the perfect spot. And then it comes out that it wasn't even a set play. Arod drew it up on the ground in the huddle like in a school yard.

Not to mention Cook's catch which is every bit as spectacular as Beckham's one-hand grab that gets played ad infinitum.

And now the Cowgirl fans are blaming the refs...

That throw was insane. I have a decent arm and when I help with my kids team I am all over the place when I don't plant my feet.

Tired of listening to all the Cowboy apologists on the radio/tv today. They seem to gloss over all the challenges the Packers have had with injuries and only focus on the Cowboy's mistakes and issues.

They characterize this as a bump in the road for the incoming Cowboy dynasty.

Umm, Goodmorning Football on the NFL network raved about Rodgers, Cook, the Packers, even stubby. What did you watch for like a minute and decide it was anti Packer?

                      This one is the best.

ARLINGTON, TX – Authorities are on the hunt Monday morning after the most saddening crime that’s hit the greater Dallas-Forth Worth area since the assignation of John F. Kennedy. At approximately 7:38 PM Sunday night, the Dallas Cowboys were playing a playoff game vs the Packers, where a man was said to have entered AT&T […]

Spiking the ball was not immensely costly for the Boys.

Cost a couple of percentages in simulations for the chance to win the game with a TD. Best option to win game was to call the timeout.

Home teams scoring 31+ points in playoffs are 132-5 (.964) since 1940.

Dallas only the 2nd to lose in regulation (2003 Chiefs lost 38-31)

                              MM PC:

Practice schedule won't change much. Some players with more media responsibility because of high profile game.

Jordy was able to do everything they wanted him to do in weight room today. Don't know if he'll practice on Wed.

Not major concerns about Burnett. Will know more Wed.

Gave Rodgers credit for orchestrating play and protections on last drive. Said Rodgers has menu of plays and protections to choose from.

On the pass to Cook: Cowboys should have wrapped their arms around every WR off the line, took a holding penalty and forced the Packers to try a long Hail Mary.
