I nearly was, but out of frustration, at finding a decent scouting writeup. Lotta sites are very skimpy if you aren't paying for the service.Originally posted by smuggler View PostHopefully pbmax isn't lying face-down, dead on his keyboard.
I hope Joemailman or Rastak can bail me out of that today.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Surprising. If they like Baker, whatever, that's fine. Separate argument. I think they were the one team uniquely positioned to draft Barkley #1 and then take your chances that Mayfield is there at #4, which he probably would have been. The Giants may have then taken Darnold. If the Browns were entertaining the thought of doing this, they must have been concerned about the Jets at #3 possibly taking Mayfield. Otherwise, why not draft Barkley 1 and Mayfield 4. OK, I understand they got Ward at #4, but they could have addressed corner later, like the first pick of the 2nd round.Originally posted by Cheesehead Craig View PostIt's Baker!"Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." -Daniel Patrick Moynihan

NO. 14. New Orleans Saints (via Green Bay): Marcus Davenport, DL, UTSAOriginally posted by George Cumby View PostSeems the best rushers went right before our pick?
NO. 16. Buffalo Bills (via Baltimore): Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech
NO. 17. Los Angeles Chargers: Derwin James, S, Florida State
NO.19.[/B] Dallas Cowboys: Leighton Vander Esch, LB, Boise State
NO.22. Tennessee Titans (from Buff Via KC and Bal): Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama
NO. 28. Pittsburgh Steelers: Terrell Edmunds, S, Virginia Tech
NO.32. Baltimore Ravens (via Philadelphia) ** Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville and this Pick was Graded as an A +and the Highest Graded Pick in Round 1
** As this week progressed I wondered if he wasn't the Man the Packer should target. Lamar Jackson is seriously athletic and the most exciting and explosive Prospect in this Draft Class. He was there at Pick NO. 14 and Picks NO. 18 and 27. He is head and shoulders better that what we currently imagine as a competent Backup QB.
On the flip side. I feel Lamar Jackson landed with the Team of best fit and with after (a maybe and Arizona at Their original NO. 15 and the Baltimore Ravens Original NO. 16 Picks.** Since 2006 3 X Pro Pickem' Champion; 4 X Runner-Up and 3 X 3rd place.

DRAFTED BY CLEVELAND BROWNS
Round 2 ‧ Pick 1 (33)
AUSTIN CORBETT - NEVADA - G
Prospect Info
6' 4" - 306 lbs - 33 1/8” -HANDS 10 1/2”
GRADE = 5.79
You want to talk about a fast riser. He's one of the cleanest players in this draft, plays with a nasty edge. The Browns are pretty good inside, so it will be interesting to see where they line him up. He was a former walk-on that went to a three-time captain. That's a John Dorsey pick right there. --Mike Mayock

Pick Analysis ... Round 2 • Pick 2 (34)
Guard - Will Hernandez - UTEP
" Run game mauler. I love the high-school wrestler background because it typically means you have great balance and leverage. He just doesn't like people. A little better than you think in pass protection. When he locks on with heavy hands, it's over. " --Mike Mayock

Round 2 Pick NO. 3 (35)
NICK CHUBB - GEORGIA -RB
GRADE = 5.79
They saw a running back they wanted. They pounced on him. Since he hurt that knee in '15, he got better in '16 but we saw the old Nick Chubb this year. --Mike Mayock

ROUND 2 - Pick NO. 4 (36)
DARIUS LEONARD - SOUTH CAROLINA ST. - OLB
Prospect Grade = 5.81
An off-the-ball linebacker. We know what this guy is. He's a dynamic, off the ball run and chase linebacker. He can play third down in your sub package, he can cover tight ends, you can drop him to a running back. --Mike Mayock

Best blocker in the SEC. He's a powerful people mover. He's played inside, he's played outside. It'll be interesting to see where they line him up. --Mike Mayock
