  • Huh.

    Sam Monson @PFF_Sam
Brady's numbers sucked last year, but after diving into the tape and stats, I think almost ALL of the problem was the receiving corps:

Give him guys who can get open, Brady can still ball.

MAYBE WE GIVE QBS TOO MUCH CREDIT AND BLAME?

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

This was just another example of the horrible fallout from 9/11.

One of the best games I've ever attended. If you love defensive football, this was your kind of game.

            • Myles Garrett is back, suspension lifted. And he still claims he heard Rudolph calling him a slur.

There wasn't much to back him up on this (video and other players didn't hear it, I think one teammate might have) but I have to say, reacting to that with a helmet swing makes a hell of a lot more sense than just deciding mid-play to take someone's head off.

I am inclined to believe he thought he heard it.

                  • I was at that game. Absolutely incredible. To put it in perspective, Packers were an underdog at home. The week before, the Packers had played terrible, losing to Tampa Bay 38-28 as Rodgers threw 3 INT's including a Pick 6. Dallas on the other hand was red hot, having won 4 in a row. It was the first of 5 straight wins for the Packers. One of the most important wins of the McCarthy/Rodgers/Thompson era.

Also the birth of McCarthy adjusting the scheme about 6 games into the season when the off season plan wasn't working.

Been a bad week for player troubles. Oliver was just the cleanup hitter. Washington WR Cody Latimer, Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar and Giants cornerback Deandre Baker were the top of the order.

Antonio Morrison in the news for the wrong reason
Former NFL linebacker Antonio Morrison was arrested this week and charged with intimidation, a felony, according to the Indianapolis Star.

The Baker/Dunbar thing is just bonkers. The reader comments are pretty good though.
