      • SEATTLE: DE, L.J. Collier

        6'2", 283 lbs
        TCU

        5 POS RK
        38 OVR RK
        86 GRADE

        NFL draft profile: L.J. Collier
L.J. Collier is a defensive end prospect from TCU who recorded five sacks in his senior season.

        Pre-Draft Analysis
Collier is a prototypical 4-3 LDE with excellent length and power. He improved his ability to locate the ball and get off blocks in 2018. He turned heads with his ability to overwhelm tackles and interior offensive linemen as a pass-rusher during Senior Bowl week. He chases with good effort and plays faster than timed speed.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Disagree. Rashan Gary may noyt have showed up much of tape but how much of that was scheme? I am honestly asking since I don't have time to watch much football. At the very least, you cannot argue with how tremendous and special of an edge player he is. I would have preferred Ed Oliver because his agility and suddeness is something I've never seen before, but Gary is a solid consolation prize. Before this season, most people thought he'd be a top 2-3 pick up there with Bosa.

          • NYG: CB, Deandre Baker from Seattle

            5'11", 193 lbs
            Georgia

            4 POS RK
            36 OVR RK
            87 GRADE

            NFL draft profile: Deandre Baker
Deandre Baker is a cornerback out of Georgia that won the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's best defensive back in 2018.

            Pre-Draft Analysis
Baker is a naturally instinctive corner who does a good job reading receivers and has an excellent feel for route combinations. He has quick feet, fluid hips and good body control. He has above-average length and ball skills. He's tough and wraps up in run support.

Gary was an underachiever; there were times his coaches had him on the sideline. And he had good coaches.

He has looks like Tarzan plays like Jane talent. Hopefuly our coaches can get him playing remotely near his abiliy

                • ATLANTA: OT, Kaleb McGary from LARams

                  6'7", 317 lbs
                  Washington

                  8 POS RK
                  73 OVR RK
                  76 GRADE

                  NFL draft profile: Kaleb McGary
Kaleb McGary is a tall, well-built right tackle prospect out of Washington who is a very good run-blocker and moves defenders off the ball when he keeps his pads down.

                  Pre-Draft Analysis
McGary is a tall, well-built right tackle prospect with short arms, especially for his height. He is a very good run-blocker who gets into position and moves defenders off the ball when he keeps his pads down. He has a quick set and a lot of shock in his hands, but he lunges at times, and his arm length is a concern.

Am really surprised by a lot of the picks. I think the teams are focusing on the players that fit for them and the mock drafters are having a lot more trouble predicting the draft order; that is, teams' boards are really diverging. Not sure why, or why now.

                        • According to that analytics site, Gary was far more productive than his sack numbers. Had 87 QB pressures in college and was the 7th highest rated edge vs the run. And he's young. I think Savage and Gary are both 21.

Similar to Z Smith and P Smith, the pressures should have led to more sacks. These guys are the anti-Fackrells.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

                            NFL draft profile: N'Keal Harry
N'Keal Harry is a wide receiver who was first-team All-Pac-12 in both his sophomore and junior seasons at Arizona State.

                            Pre-Draft Analysis
Harry is a big target with good body control, and he consistently rewards his quarterback for throwing him 50-50 balls. He doesn't have an elite second gear, but his size-speed combination and ball skills make him a threat in the vertical passing game. He flashes the ability to make the first defender miss and is an above-average threat after the catch for a player his size.
