I was one of those "uncool Pack fans" back then hahahaha. I hated that long haired loud mouth punk, McMahon. I'm trying to imagine what I'd be saying now if I was a Browns fan - maybe something like no harm no foul or Rudolph had it coming or whatever. I'm not saying that, though, because I'm certainly not a Browns fan.Originally posted by Anti-Polar Bear View PostUncool Pack fans cheered when future Pack Super Bowl wining QB Jim McMahon was bodyslamed head first onto the cold, hard astroturf by Charles Martin. What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

NFL did the indefinite suspension to send a message about the severity but also not to pin themselves into a specific number. He'll be gone the rest of the season and then he can talk to the league in the offseason about coming back (and doing some anger management counseling or such). This way the NFL shows they are serious about player safety and at the same time show the Player's Union that they are willing to listen to players and not be so rigid. All hail the Ruler of the Meadow!

Emotions are no reason to overlook an infraction.Originally posted by yetisnowman View Post3 games for Pouncey is bullshit. He punched and kicked Garrett's head with the helmet on. Guy just committed aggravated assault on his qb. It was seconds later. Teammates should be expected to defend each other in that way when an opposing player goes psychotic. Small fine. That's all.
"Your honor, I shouldn't have shot that man, but I was so MAD!"Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Really, really, poor analogy. If you ever go to bar try smashing a chair over a strangers head. If his friend decks you for it, see if that friend catches charges.Originally posted by pbmax View PostEmotions are no reason to overlook an infraction.

I don't know about McMahon, but I am sure I cheered when Joe "Turkey" Jones planted Bradshaw's head into the turf.Originally posted by George Cumby View PostShoulder first. Other than that, your post is almost sensible.
But not sure I would structure a justice system around that take.
Exhilarating. They even got the fumble because the ground didn't cause that fumble, Turkey Jones did.Last edited by pbmax; 11-15-2019, 02:58 PM.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Depends on the damages and the witnesses. If there is video I suspect they would be hearing from somebody. But we are not talking about people going about their personal lives at a private business.Originally posted by yetisnowman View PostReally, really, poor analogy. You can't commit a flagrant personal foul after the whistle in the game and not get dinged for it. Otherwise Belichick will coach it.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

So we have established that children and adults shouldn't be treated the same.Originally posted by RashanGary View PostI beat my sister worse than that when I was 14. You have had a weird interest in and soft spot for women beaters over the years. Is this where it stems from ? Your sister kicking your ass? I know your an internet personality, but I've never actually encountered a dude in real life that is actually a proponent of men beating the shit out of women like that. You thought about counseling?Originally posted by RashanGary View PostI beat my sister worse than that when I was 14. She was older and always kicked my ass.
