The difference in the game is the QB position. Mahomes, even though he isn't sharp, as a difference-maker uses his feet to manufacture first downs.

Garoppolo has been efficient and sharp throughout the game, until the game is put on his shoulders. He can't come through.

Mahomes is an MVP QB, Garoppolo is a midrange QB.
