Niners blew it in the 4th, wow. Clearly they were the superior team even though I am left wondering how Andy Reid neutralized the pass rush so much more effectively than LaFleur did.

One HUGE difference is Homme didn't need much time because his guys were getting wide open

The Niners could not cover the Cheifs WR's. Between Kelsey, Hills, Watskins, and the other rookie WR somebody was open the whole game for them. It was just giving Homme enough time to find one of them being wide open.

Chiefs- Kelsey, Hill, Wadtins, Hardmon, Robinson

Packers Jimmy, Adams, Lizard, MVS, Allison

If you take the top 10 receiving options between the TE's and WR's

The Chiefs probably have nine of the ten best options. For sure 8 of 10 at worst.

To be fair Bretsky, it helps KC a ton that their two stars are on rookie contracts.

But yeah - John Dorsey is an awesome scout. Packers would be well served to try to bring him in. I doubt he gets another GM shot.

Yes. Don't know if they just missed it, or if they let it go in the Super Bowl because they didn't find it egregious. Looked like Garoppolo was at least temporarily affected by it though.

I don't buy that assertion at all.

Something Patler mentioned YEARS ago about SB Champs is they have to go through adversity, to be tested, hard, to find their mettle.

KC was behind in both of their PO games and had to come roaring back.

SF never trailed in the PO's until yesterday.

KC was confident, they'd been there before and knew they could come from behind, SF had it too easy with patsies like the Packers on the menu.

When KC gets hot, it's an avalanche. In their 3 playoff games where they were down the most, 24-0 to Houston, 17-7 to TN and 20-10 to SF, they finished those 3 games a combined 100-14. That's just amazing.

Little shanahan played to not lose just like he did versus Patriots when he was with Atlanta. Same thing pretty much. Kept calling pass plays that failed and allowed the opponent to get the ball back quickly.
