I was a little late with my thread.

      Studs

Aaron Rodgers - 283 yards and 3 TD's on a night he didn't have Adams and Jones wasn't special.

Allen #2 WR Stud Lazard - 146 yards and a TD and drew a PI that set up another TD

Robert Tonyan - 5 catches for 50 yards and a TD. Looked legit out there.

Marcedes Lewis - Scored 1 TD and key block on another.

Ty Summers - Overall, a nice job coming off bench.

      Mason Crosby - Perfect night.

      Kingsley Keke - 2 sacks.

      Duds

Adrian Amos - Just seemed consistently out of position and had terrible missed tackle on long Kamara TD

Rodgers said Marquez was getting extra attention over the top and that opened up the other guys

For MVS being such a shitty player, it’s nice to hear defenses give extra attention over the top. Huh. Weird. Almost like they think he’s a deep weapon.

Studs: Aaron Rodgers as always. Yes, Lazard and Tonyan - as good as some of us expected, Aaron Jones - a very decent game even though the Saints aimed to stop him cold, and Darnell Savage for being all over the field - yeah, he missed a tackle or two, but he made a lot of plays.

Less studly, but damn good just the same, especially considering expectations: Summers, Burns, and yes, even Burks for being clearly better than Kirksey - addition by subtraction when he went out; Sternberger, who I have absolutely despised before tonight - the kid looked fairly decent; "Big Dog" Lewis excellent blocking all game in addition to the big catch - which was NOT OPI; Mason Crosby for calmly doing his job; Billy Turner for not being as bad as I and maybe other people thought he would be; Ditto that for Montravius Adams. The whole O Line for doing a more than decent job against a damn good defense.

Duds: Nobody better call MVS a dud - the Saints played to stop him, opening up Lazard and the TEs. I'm not gonna call Z. Smith a dud, as N.O. probably game planned to stifle him, but one excellent (and slightly lucky) play doesn't make him an "MVP" as the network claimed.

I'll give J.K.Scott's Bermuda shorts football pants a dud designation - not much of anything else I can think of.

Edit: oh yeah, I forgot Keke as a stud.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

I thought Rodgers and MVS looked a little out of sync, but Saints corners are really good.

Aaron Rodgers! He basically took a bunch of jags outside Jones and got a win on a big stage. This to me considering the talent he had to work with was one of his best performances of all time. When you consider we had guys like Shepherd and Taylor that we’re just bodies out there it truly was an amazing performance.

There was a point in the game I thought he had maxed out the personnel we had on the field but once again Rodgers defied all odds and shocked us all getting the best out of players that we wouldn’t expect much from. It just reminds me so much of what Michael Jordan used to do when he played. That same type of ability. Rodgers and Lafleur certainly have it cooking. Hopefully Gute can get the final piece this offense needs to make it complete.

Dud. MVS. It’s plain as day he is a one trick pony and can’t separate or compete against better competition. He is a giant fraud that puts up big stats against weaker competition. Time to find something better!

Z was on my dud list until the strip sack/recovery.

The defense was on my dud list until they showed some heart at the end and got a crucial stop!

The refs were on our side. I appreciate that

Lowry and Lancaster in the duds list. I actually saw Adams and Winn do some positive things. Keke had two sacks. MLBs struggled most of the night, but Summers and Barnes made some plays in the 4th quarter.

Dud - Will Redmond. Time for Raven Greene to take his spot.

                            Dud - tackling. Yeesh

                            Preston? He seems very slow

I personally didn't understand the defensive game plan. Thought they'd play tight and force Brees to prove he could beat them over the top. D seemed all too willing to let Brees throw short

I’m curious to know how fast Lazard really is. He was like 10 yards with nobody around him and got caught from behind.
