    Preston? He seems very slow

I personally didn't understand the defensive game plan. Thought they'd play tight and force Brees to prove he could beat them over the top. D seemed all too willing to let Brees throw short
Yeah. I’ve been noticing that with Preston too. No burst at all.

Whether we have Kenny Clark or not we have to come to the jesus table that this is probably a mid-tier D at best that can get a few stops and a turnover here and there.

That means we need to “Upgrade The Offense”

The defense is way way way more then a piece away from being elite. It’s probably 3-4 pieces away and a new D coordinator. Accept the fact that the defense is what it is and put the final piece in play into the offense. It’s our best shot.

Fast enough to get 10 yards behind everybody.

It’s just nice when our awful WR corps is performing near or even at the top of the entire NFL in terms of production.

It looked like he stumbled once he got in the open field and decided to turn around to look for a defender. It's actually happened to him a couple of times the last couple of years. Just ran straight ahead, young man.

Yeah. He ran like a bat out of hell on the route. He’s a big dude. He’s more of a burst guy than endurance guy. That was a really long route from the left side of the field all the way down and across to the right. He looked tired to me cuz he ran like a bat outta hell to get there, then slowed down. I’m sure he’s rounding into game shape. I think he’ll finish those as the season progresses

In 17 and 18 our WR Corp didn’t perform near the top of the league with Aaron Rodgers at QB. In 19, mostly in their second NFL seasons they didn’t perform at or near the top of the league with AR12 at QB. This year they are. With the same QB.

Can’t wait till Adams gets back! AR12 said MVS was getting some extra attention over the top. Can’t really do that with 17 in the game. MVS still gonna make a ton of deep catches once 17 is back and drawing those brackets. Can’t over/under everyone and they’d be insane to pick 83 over 17 to bracket if 17 is healthy

91 had some really good rushes against that probowl tackle down the stretch there. He’s still got it.

Gary looked gimpy for a minute then didn’t come back.... I have a feeling he’s gonna miss a little time. Hope Clark is back to make it seamless

Studs has gotta be Lazard and Stoneburner.

Duds was that pansie tackling by the secondary.

                        Yeah, just like 2011!

This season really is starting to remind me of 2011. That defense is like diarrhea.

Be a great regular season, then a flame-out in the playoffs.

And Zadarius Smith played the run horribly. He kept getting sucked inside then having the r.b. have a lane as wide as a truck to run through.

We need to give New Orleans some credit. They're a damn good team.

Our tackling was pretty cruddy, but a large part of that was Kamara's talent - which I underrated previously. (I'd still take Aaron Jones over him, though, all things considered.)

                          Z. Smith was being asked to play where and how he usually doesn't get asked to play. Mostly he wasn't very good there, although N.O.'s O Line was damn good, and having Kenny Clark in there will help him a lot. I'm more concerned about P. Smith who really hasn't done much all season and Gary, who backslid Sunday - injury or being blocked by all pro OTs or whatever. The kid, Garvin, came in and looked good, though.

It's starting to remind me of the 15-1 season too. Just because we are loaded on O and shaky on D doesn't mean fading in the play-offs, though. I see the whole NFC as a little bit down this season - even before all the injuries, and more so as the season has progressed. I don't see any of them being a match for the Packers. The big challenge will be beating the AFC if we get to the Super Bowl. Probably the two best teams in the league play each other tonight. I can't see the Packers losing to anybody in one big game, but it's pretty hard to see us as good as either of those two teams over a whole season.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Where was Z. Smith being asked to play that he's unfamiliar with. I do not know of what you speak. A d who is this Garvin? What position?
