The thing I've noticed about Rodgers in 2 games is he looks reasonably mobile on planned rollouts. But when he has to try to escape a collapsing pocket, not so much. He can still throw better than a lot of NFL QB's. He'll probably be able to do that when he's 50. But the legs are gone.

OK, So. Back to Jordan Love.
But Mama said
You can't hurry love
No, you just have to wait
She said, Love don't come easy
It's a game of give and take (Can't wait)
You can't hurry love (Ooh, until that day)
No, you just have to wait
You got to trust, give it time (Love don't come easy)
No matter how long it takes
I mean, sure, if you got the right defensive players you could actually hurry Love. But I just thought man, there's way too many of these songs to not use while he's the GB QB. I hope the home game Lambeau Field music guy is taking full advantage."Everyone's born anarchist and atheist until people start lying to them" ~ wise philosopher

Jordan Love finished 31 of 43 passing for 337 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, 118.1 passer rating. Had a 25-yard scramble.
Packers fell behind 3 different times in the fourth quarter and overtime and responded with points each time.I can't run no more

"There's a lot of talk about how efficient Jordan Love has been this year:
Top ten in: Completion percentage, yards per attempt
Top five in: QBR, Rating, Turnovers, sack percentage, sacks taken, TDs, INT percentage, successful pass percentage
Leader in EPA per play
But there has been almost no chatter about how he is both top five in comeback drives and game winning drives. If you dive in game by game, he's come up huge virtually every time he's been asked to do it.
Week 1 - Lions: Game effectively over in Q4 at 27-6
Week 2 - Commanders: Game effectively over in Q4 at 27-10
Week 3 - Browns: Game tied at 10, Love leads offense to GW field goal attempt (blocked)
Week 4 - Cowboys: Love leads offense to game tying FG attempt (saves game with timing of third down pass attempt.
Week 6 - Bengals: Leading by six, Love leads offense to FG drive that ices the game
Week 7 - Cardinals: Trailing 23-20, Love leads offense to score a TD with under two minutes remaining
Week 8 - Steelers: Game effectively over in Q4 at 35-19
Week 9 - Panthers: Trailing 13-6, Love leads the offense on a TD drive to tie the game with under two minutes remaining (Panthers would kick GW FG with no time remaining)
Week 10 - Eagles: Trailing 10-0, Love leads the offense on a TD drive with six minutes left to cut the deficit to three. Love would then lead the offense to a 64 yard try (missed by McManus)
Week 11 - Giants: Trailing 20-19, Love leads the offense on a TD drive with 4 minutes left (also converts 2 PT conversion)
Week 12 - Vikings: Game effectively over as soon as Nine stepped onto the field
Week 13 - Lions: Leading by 7, Love converts on 4th down to ice the game
Week 14 - Bears: Tied 21-21, Love leads the offense on a GW TD drive with under four minutes remaining
He has been, arguably, the most clutch QB in the NFL this season and it seems pretty clear that as long as the game is close in the 4th quarter or OT he's going to do whatever he can to put the team into position to win. Thoughts?"
I've noticed the brain-farts have decreased as the season has progressed. I'd read the pick yesterday was partially on Golden.
His demeanor has always jumped out at me, cool, calm, collected; clutch throws all season long in the most high pressure situations.
Brent was the gun-slinger, Rodgers the surgeon, Love is an assassin.

I wondered about that INT. Did Golden run the wrong route, or run it too deep? I'm pretty sure it was the only time he was targeted.Originally posted by George Cumby View PostPlagiarized from Reddit:

Edit: Upon further review, just a bad decision/throw. Had Whyle on checkdown (probably not for 1st down), or maybe Wicks on deep out.Last edited by Joemailman; 12-08-2025, 03:17 PM.I can't run no more

I was wondering about Wicks, after his "breakout" game against the Loins. He had almost no impact against Da Pubic Bears. But I heard on a podcast today that he aggravated his ankle injury and played only five snaps on Sunday.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostI wondered about that INT. Love looked on that throw like he was trying to use "correct" form and have both feet planted, use the platform, ete, lean into the throw, etc, and he did not put any arc on the ball as a result.
Packer D came up big afterward on the resulting Bears' offensive series.
"Bear Down" - sounds like they are pushing a baby out. Or trying to get that constipated dump out. Or both."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Sounds like he owned it during the post-game presser, said it was a bad decision.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostI wondered about that INT. Did Golden run the wrong route, or run it too deep? I'm pretty sure it was the only time he was targeted.

I wonder if they're dick twins? Seriously though Love has really been clutch since the AZ game I think it was. I got nothing bad to say overall. Now here is the kicker I think (correct me if I'm wrong). How did that season end for Rodgers? Pretty good as I recall. Hopefully we can win one with Love, get a mountain of great years, then trade him to the Jets when he's washed up.Originally posted by Joemailman View Postzach jacobson
