Silverstein wrote a piece a week ago or so, about how Jones had disappeared this camp, clearly falling behind Dillard, Telfort and Glover. He had quotes from Jones expressing realization of his situation.

“The hamstring kind of threw me off,” Jones said. “I started a week later, and I felt I was a little behind the 8-ball, behind the curve. I’ve just been fighting to get myself back to the kind of flow where everything else has been.
“I’m not sure if it’s a case of too little, too late or what it is. But it’s definitely reshaped how I expected myself (to perform).”
He had two years and a third training camp to earn a legitimate spot on the depth chart. If anything, he may have regressed this year. Time to give someone else a chance.

Didn't he go unclaimed on waivers? It's over for him.

Well I just can't keep up with the Jones's. Which should be much easier for me now because there are officially zero players named Jones on the Packers team.

            Nah.

But if I'm ever feeling blue about any of it - I'll just reach for one of these during the game. Maybe mix in some Captain Morgan and/or Vodka.

Then, because I'm a sucker for musical innuendo I'd kick back and listen to some sort of curated playlist containing such eloquent compositions such as:

We got rid of the hippy QB, but we’re left with the hippy CB. Rather than undergo surgery two years ago Jaire turned to nature and the healing powers of listening to dolphins mate.

How long before Jaires clearly damaged shoulder acts up? 10 tackles? 20? What do you guys think?

Epic choice. So many favorite parts. When the cheerleaders kick in. When the coach kicks in. The reference to Ex-Lax.

If any PackerRat is feeling the harsh loss of any former Packer named Jones, repeated listening has been clinically shown to ease the pain. This is not medical advice and is not FDA approved. Side effects may include shortness of breath, uncontrollable laughter, rodenticide, spontaneous anal bleeding and growth of a third eye.
