I can't say for sure whether they should get credit or we should receive blame. Either way, that's the difference in the game that stood out to me the most.
Isn't this what happens when a team picks in the Top 5 for two decades finally becomes good and those offensive/defensive line picks at the top of the drafts finally pay off?

The Packers revamped their defense - secondary and LBs to counter top tier offenses like the Lions. Against Miami, you can escape with playing a takeaway defense against their top two targets, but Detroit is too multiple an has an incredibly efficient offense because of design, QB, O-line and multiple interchangeable receiving threats. Having Alexander, Ballentine, and Cooper out, and losing a safety during the game, required simplifying the defense. tough to win on the road against an offense like that. At full(er) strength, it could be a different story.

Having Doubs out, and with Reed in some kind of (play calling?) funk, makes the O run far less efficiently for the Packers. Guys need a few weeks of healthy together to get synched for playoffs.
