I guess I just don't think he fits what they do that well, that being said if you get a guy like that you figure it out and make it work.

The rumors seem to have calmed down. None of the Packer beat writers, nor any of the main national guys (Rapoport, Schefter, etc.) have picked up on the story. My guess is if Jerry Jones were to trade Parsons, it wouldn't be to the Packers who have been a real thorn in his side at playoff time.

Some high level trolling on Parsons on X, but MLF was smiling pretty brightly on the question of Parsons with Kay Adams. He had almost given away the Golden pick pre-draft as well -- they withheld that part of the interview til afterwards (I forget who -- some of the local ESPN guys). Normally, I'd say no way, but Jerry may be finally losing it. You can't treat your best player this way.

What's interesting about Parsons is the Dallas defense ranking with and without Parsons. He doesn't have to be THE man on GB's defense. Gute's kryptonite imo is the first round; they need another player on this team and I don't see him on the roster now. They are in a window right now: biggest need is pass rush imo.

I think the pass rush is fine between the improvements, the collapse the pocket concept and scheming some pressure.

Cover corners however....thats a weakness. We have no alpha and 3 guys who are decent #2s. After that we have unproven youth and a guy who is in his first MONTHS playing the position. We are one injury away from real disaster.

I give the Parsons deal a 50/50 at this point. It's more than just trolling. IMO, it comes down to Jones and I've never heard Jones make such a mess before and say such negative things about a player. Parsons imo is an A+ team player: both current and former Dallas players for the first time ever publicly showed disapproval of Jones. I personally really really dislike Jones, and about the only player on that team I respect is Parsons. Parsons let it be known over a year ago that he'd like to join GB; he's friends with JLove and they have the same agent. JLove said he was trying to recruit Parsons this offseason.... Anyways, before today, I gave it 5% chance, now it's at least 50% and entirely in Jones' court.

Eff it. I was against this but your post has changed my mind. Also agree with Run’s perceptive and Bobble’s logic that the 1st round hasn’t been kind to us. Add in my belief that this is an all in season so let’s do dis!!
