Every loyal NFL fan at that time rooted for the Cowboys to survive and the Texans to get run out of town. Then, of course, there was a degree of grudging respect for the team that came closer to Us/the Packers than the lame assed AFL teams in SB 1 and 2.
A few years after that, I went to Texas, involuntarily thanks to the army.
I've always had a healthy hate for opponents, some more than others. Call me a bad person - as many have hahahaha - but I am happy to see players from anybody except the Packers get hurt (cue the whiny piss ants to start whining hahahaha). If they're playing the Packers, I don't make an exception to that for the Cowboys.
I've always had a degree of respect for Jerry Jones, and that's only enhanced when I hear/read knownothings knocking his overall performance as an owner who is his own GM.
Oh yeah, in keeping with the thread, I say again, I don't want Parsons, at least not at what it would cost the Packers.
