I think it is. I think they have to hope Banks can play decent (he had 2 decent games before bad game vs Eagles) and hope Rhyan can handle C. But the most important thing is MLF needs to recognize he doesn't have the OL he thought he would have and get more creative. I guess it was Runyan, not Tom, at Guard with Jenkins while Meyers was Center.
The guy is gone now, and I don't give a damn about him, but it's undeniable that when we had that combination for the interior O Line, we ran hugely better inside, and there was a helluva lot less pass rush up the middle. I don't believe teams don't usually let a head coach coach on the last year of their contract. Jerruh and McCarthy were an exception. They either extend the contract or get a new coach.
