Watson bailed us out this game. Thank goodness he was able to come back from his ACL so quickly.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

As close to the cardiac Pack that we have been this year. We have been in every game this year until the final whistle.

It sure feels like we are under performing. But the other team gets paid also.

I think our plan going forward is to get to 27 points and take the air out of the ball.

This team is so close to having the best record in the league.

        They are an enigma.

This win is nice, but I'm still not convinced MaLF can get it done.

Another VERY unsatisfying win, which of course, is better than no win at all.

Both our lines got beat badly on the line of scrimmage. Love was rushed virtually every pass play. Most of the decent run plays were in spite of bad blocking, not because of good blocking.

If you combine Valentine's coverage skill and Nixon's tackling ability, you might have one decent Corner. Unfortunately, Valentine is a mediocre tackler at best, and damn Nixon can't cover shit.

I was thinking extremely positive when they traded for Parsons, but I'm definitely getting less enthused about him. Time after time after fucking time, he almost gets there - which might be ok if we had decent pass coverage, but we do not.

LaFleur's lame-assed play calling made another game close that shouldn't have been.

Special teams was somewhere between mediocre and downright bad - and that IMO is coaching.

The team should still be able to snap out of the funk and be dominant, but each week like this makes that seem less likely.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Giants averaged 3.77 yards per carry. I remember one tackle for loss on a wide play to the Giant's left but Brees thought they had not gotten the Giants runners down for zero or negative yards during the game. He said they running game was winning the game for the Giants or other similar language.

So how do you win a game with a 3.77 ypc?

Opponent's desultory offense. Lack of turnovers (until the end). And just enough good pass offense to complete 3rd and medium to short. The Packers, especially in the second half were in man on the outside at least and even with numbers couldn't get great pressure. He made a number of 3rd down throws in the second half.

Packers were 7-11 on 3rd down, Giants 7-14. Giants 3-4 on fourth down. Really, that is Pack 7-11 versus Giants 10-18.

Surprisingly to me, Packers average 5.6 yards per carry.

Penalties Packers had 5-48 and Giants 6 for 77.

Packers got 2 turnovers, Giants none.

If I was the coach, who am I screaming at? Love (who missed time in the first half) had 15 completions (15/26). Winston had 4 more on 3 more throws (19/29).

So the difference? Giants ran 69 plays to the Packers 51. So I am guessing drives that are very close to 3 and out are killing the offense.

Which means even in a game without a generous supply of turnovers and penalties, drops killed them again. But I would also be a bit ticked at the continued struggle of pass blocking. I would also be mad at Love for not sliding more.

The one good thing I did not notice was Banks getting cooked (or hurt).
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I wasn’t happy with Love’s play but if his teammates hold on to the ball he is 21 of 26 and we make a few more 3rd down conversions and keep drives going.

We have multiple players getting knocked out of the game every week. It’s like a MASH unit out there and MiLF needs to realize that and change his play calling.

Love was not the problem today.
He is the main reason the offense scored 27 points when he got little support from the OL and WR’s.

                    Motherfuck!!!!

Played poker for almost 24 hours straight Saturday morning into Sunday morning, took a nap at 10AM, forgot to set alarm and missed the damn game. All just to lose 600 froskins.

At least the Packers didn’t lose, according to ESPN.com. Guess I am gonna have to be uncool like Tex was last week and watch the damn game on tape delay.

What was wrong with the playcalling? Half the incompletions were drops and they averaged 5.6 yards per rush. They were 4-4 in the red zone. The only reason they didn't score 30+ was because their defense had trouble getting off the field.

The cuckoo, cuckold, clock-milking D showed up again, eh? Box score says Love and the offense had mediocre fantasy numbers. And looks like the receivers were dropping it like it’s hot…again.
