    Official Packers vs Bears Discussion Thread

    Packers lead all-time series 108-96-6. 107-95-6 in regular season, 1-1 in postseason.

    Last meeting: Bears defeated the Packers 24-22 at Lambeau on a last second field goal. Packers started pulling some starters in second half of that game as the game did not affect their playoff position. Jordan Love completed 7 of 12 passes for 69 yards before departing. Malik Willis completed 10 of 13 for 136 yards. Emanuel Wilson rushed 14 times for 73 yards and 1 TD. Malik Heath caught 3 passes for 53 yards. For the Bears, Caleb Williams completed 21 of 29 passes for 148 yards and 1 TD. D'Andre Swift rushed 20 times for 65 yards and 1 TD. DJ Moore caught 9 passes for 86 yards and 1 TD.

    The Bears come into the game 9-3, off a 24-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bears rushed for 281 yards in the game. The Bears currently have the NFC #1 playoff position. Offensively, the Bears rank 8th in points scored, and 6th in yards gained. Caleb Williams has completed 58.1% of his passes for 2722 yards with 17 TD's and 5 INT's. Rome Odunze leads them in receiving with 44 catches for 661 yards and 6 TD's. D'Andrew Swift leads them in rushing with 774 yards and 5 TD's, averaging 4.8 YPC. Kyle Monangai has 591 rushing yards and 5 TD's, averaging 4.9 YPC.

    Defensively, the Bears rank 25th in points scored, 27th in yards allowed. However the did get Pro Bowl CB Jaylon Johnson and nickel back Kyler Gordon back from IR recently. Opponents have completed 67% of passes for 2702 yards with 24 TD's and 17 INT's. Opponents have rushed for 1606 yards and 11 TD's, averaging 5.2 YPC. Bears have sacked opposing QB's 23 times, led by Montez Sweat with 7.5.

      I asked a friend in Chicago land about the game: His prediction: (read in Chicago/Ditka/SNL slang)

      I told him to lay off the the "Chicago Handshakes" and enjoy the ass whooping the Pack lays on the Bears.

            Your only flaw is the bears fan knew what 7x10 was assuming no missed xtra points.

              The offensive lines on both sides are key. If da Bears control the line of scrimmage on offense, the Packer D will be in a world of hurt. I'm missing Devonte Wyatt more than I miss my mother right now.

              Time for Warren Brinson, sixth round draft choice, to step up and be our Barney Fuckdoggle for the season.

                      The Packers currently have 4 players on reserve lists who have returned to practice - they must either be activated by dates below or their seasons are over:

                        Same as Lions game, if D stops the Bears run game and the O gets two scores up, Packers win.

                        We can say the Bears are benefitting from a soft schedule, but those wins pile up and confidence builds. I think they believe in themselves and their coach. This makes them dangerous.

                        I'm nervous about this game, but the Division and the #1 seed are there for the Packers to seize.

                        Let's see what they are made of.

                          Bears defense leads the NFL with 17 INT's. Packers offense is 2nd best at not throwing INT's with 3. Stay out of 3rd and long and don't get behind by 2 scores.

                              Well -

                              I am sad to see Tyron "Pickled" Herring released from the practice squad for no other reason than unrealized name fun during a game.


                              Also - The week 16 game with Packers at Bears has been moved to Saturday 12/20 at 7:20pm Central


                              In addition - for those of you looking for the next Howard Green - sources say DT Ross Blacklock worked out for the Packers today:
