Riley the new DT is just a little excited to be here:

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Christmas came three weeks early for Jordon Riley. On Monday, Riley was a member of the New York Giants’ practice squad. Riley was at home tha

“Man, this sh** been crazy,” Riley said after practice on Wednesday.

    ...

“All the great games. It’s just speechless at the moment. Still trying to soak it all in. Everything’s happening fast. I just finished my first practice. Just taking it all in still.”

One of the things that “happened here” was winning the Super Bowl in 2010. An unsung hero from that team was defensive tackle Howard Green.

    ...

“Just stopping the run,” he said. “We got so much talent in the pass rush, but we ain’t going to get there if we don’t stop the run.

“So, I think I’ll come in just stopping the run. Making it my priority to stop the run and then obviously first-, second-down pass, if that comes then making my rushes to go get a sack. But at the end of the day, I feel like they brought me in to come stop the run. Like help out on that end and then let our edge rushers eat.”
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I reckon, Packers gonna annihilate the Mobsters so pleasantly, Mailman’s gonna be posting gruesome pics of dead bears at halftime.

It’s always symbolic, them pics of dead bears, albeit the gruesomeness.

Cocky Ben Johnson is gonna cock nonstop if the Packers somehow lose this game. Gotta shoot, err, shut them dammed “Bears down.”

Bears are +17 in turnover differential. +20 in their 9 wins. -3 3 in their 3 losses. Protect the ball.

Let me be the first to say (this time around anyway), THE BEARS STILL SUCK - this in response to the frauds thing, the dead bears thing, the threading the needle thing, etc.

The differential thing that I'm looking at is their point differential in their wins compared to their point differential in their losses, not to mention the opponents they beat.

                      Ken - Packers Cap
                      @KenIngalls

Very surprised the Packers decided to replace Devonte Wyatt (300lb 3T) with Quinton Bohanna (360lb NT) and Jordon Riley (325lb NT).

Lots of beef and not a lot of backfield wiggle.

When you have good EDGEs and run our system collapsing the pocket on top of a QB is enough. Penetration isn't really as necessary for disruption.

Maybe the Carolina game changed the brass’s thinking on that topic.

                          I think Bobble’s got a point there.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Packers have another wide receiver at their disposal now that Jayden Reed was activated off injured reserve Saturday and is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Bears at Lambeau Field.

And it's not just any receiver the Packers are getting back. It's their leading receiver in each of the past two seasons and an option who could open up more of the playbook for quarterback Jordan Love.

When Wyatt wasn't in there, the Packers did show some weakness against inside runs. I can see picking up a couple of immoveable objects to fix that.

Let your DL occupy the OL and hopefully your LB’s and Safeties can make plays.
