Not sure if it’s been mentioned but the Packers are expecting RT Zach Tom to return vs. bears. Could be Huge news for the O-Line before this Bears matchup.

Packers have signed QB Desmond Ridder to their active roster from their practice squad, signed WR Julian Hicks, WR Kisean Johnson and TE Messiah Swinson to their practice squad, and released QB Clayton Tune.

And thus, the Packers are out of Tune!

The Packers offense was out of tune when Tune was in.

I'm still not over that Seahawks game. Or the last Bears game for that matter.

If you can't get fired up and play with your hair on fire in a playoff game, then what are ya doin'?

If they sleepwalk through this, I'll be furious.

I can more easily forgive a bad play or bad play call than I can just sticking your head into a tailpipe with bad coaching all game long out of fear.

Now fear has its place. Some of McCarthy's finest run game shenanigans came against the Williams wall and worked to alleviate a lot of pressure on the team and especially the Offense and got the team on an even footing early. That was some of his finest work as it kept the team competitive, didn't allow the Vikes to tee off on the pass game, etc.

But when you are beating the pulp out of someone, you need to press the advantage. Not go into a shell.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Bo Melton, America's Favorite WR/CB is going on IR. Not an ACL or year long deal, but they would seem to need the roster spot if he can't go this week.

Bo Melton will be the third cornerback to go on the injured reserve in two weeks, along with Nate Hobbs and Kamal Hadden.

In other news, the Ref crew this week likes to throw flags and lose control of the game.

                            Items of note:
                            1. More offensive holds than average, almost 1 more per game
                            2. Calls more DPI and illegal contact than average
                            3. Calls unnecessary roughness at a 44 percent lower rate than the rest of the NFL
                            4. Defensive offsides at 60 percent less
                            5. Illegal use of hands at 67 percent less.

My other takeaway from this is that the Packers have done a pretty good job of lowering the flags this year even if they still love surrendering first downs on defense to ticky tack calls.
