If we dump MiLF we could snag Harbaugh which I would be fine with.
Thunder bud, I can admit I am slow to catch on to certain things but last night wasn’t the 1st time Lafleur abandoned his game plan and inexplicably coached poorly after executing quite well earlier in a game.

I’m on on board right now with you but we need to admit we were slow to have this reaction. Admit it, there’s many who have been screaming he’s not a good coach for a considerable amount of time.

I like to think of him like I do of Steve Mariucci. Super nice man but NOT a good head coaching candidate. I wouldn’t be a good Head Coach because I’d be a nervous wreck loving the team so much. It takes a certain sort of personality to coach an NFL team. Haha, the Vince Lombardi sort, Tom Landry, Andy Reid, Don Shula ect. Men we can count on when the chips are down.

      I'm pretty torn.

Who is better at his job....Flower or Gutebag ?

I would be fine dumping both, or keeping both on a very tight leash

      NEITHER deserves extensions
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I think this is the part that everyone is missing. Is the GM responsible for the mess on the OL and the CB room?

Could you"trade" Matt LaFluer for a draft pick, and then fire Gutebag ?

His teams historically are strong in where the Packers are weak and he is unafraid to take big swings. The question is was that an organizational thing at Baltimore and would he be able to do that here?

I don’t follow the Ravens too closely but other than the Titans kicking their ass in 2020 I don’t recall them getting publicly beat up the way the Packers have been in some of these games. They don’t have a QB.

I suspect they both get two year extensions. It’d be weird to do a one year deal when they have a year left, but maybe they’ll do it. I think two year extensions for a total of three years is more likely knowing they will both be gone after next year if the don’t improve.

I kinda think Hefley gets fired. You heard it here first, but it’s undeniable the D had some major breakdowns and inability to adjust and play effectively short handed.

We can’t predict the future but the fans will go nuts if Lafleur gets an extension. I bet Policy has already had countless shareholders call his office saying Lafleur has got to go.

Policy can’t alienate the fans, an extension would cause a big problem.

Harbaugh won a Super Bowl in 2012. In the 13 years since then, he's won 4 playoff games and missed the playoffs 6 times. Not saying it's all his fault. His QB has had some bad playoff performances. He would bring a toughness, and would likely improve the special teams. However, I've read he wants full control of player personnel. If so, that probably eliminates him from consideration in Green Bay. I would prefer Stefanski who somehow twice got the Browns into the playoffs.

Why can't he alienate the fans? You know how long the season ticket waiting list is?

It was so messed up don’t know who to blame. I have been in the fire his ass crowd this season and even last. Now not so sure. Maybe for sticking with mcmanus (sorry ass choker!!) alone would be reason. For going back to Reed when he was showing no mojo this game. For not managing the time better at the end. Too much emotions right now but somehow not feeling like he should be fired today. The injuries played heavily into this. Truly believe with Parsons and also Kraft not getting hurt last night never comes close to happening. Either not a road game or Caleb not being able to make the big plays he did. Really feeling like a do over of this season but cant leave Pepe Lafleur as a lame duck. One year extension is harsh but two is dragging it out.

One year extension has to be my choice.

LaFleur might be a very good head coach six days a week but is not a good coach on game day. The team does not know how to win, which means LaFleur and his brain trust do not know how to close out games. We have seen too many great first halves coupled with dud second halves.

Even if you set aside this game, we've had 3 years running as the 7 seed and disappointing playoff performances (absent the Cowboys game and the first half of this one...).

We've got a limited window now with Love and Parsons - are we willing to gamble that another year will be that much different?

Are there coaches available this year that may not be there next year?

I was on the fence all year but I think the last 5 weeks or so have spoke volumes.

Yikes, I am not one to call for a coach with winning record, and who has made the playoffs all but in one year to be fired, but this season has been a collapse and most of the losses have happened in the fourth quarter with his inability to manage leads throughout the season. His mismanagement of timeouts and the clock cost the Packers at the end of the game last night which I think most of us could have predicted. So many things that are simply inexcusable, like taking a delay of game after a time out. Also the Bears were in desperation mode in the second half and brought pressure and loaded the box against the Packers offense and it took MLF three drives to adjust to a quick passing game.
The Playoff game against the Bears was a microcosm for the entire season and because of where this team was position at the beginning of the season and how the Packers have particularly lost the majority of their games along with a nonsense tie to the Cowboys, I think the Packers should move on from MLF. Now I think they should give permission to the Titans or another team to interview Lafleur and see if they would want to work out a trade for the coach and sign him to a new contract. Lafleur does not warrant a new contract in GB anytime soon.

The loss at 49ers was the up and coming young team only one Love pass away from the NFCC. I think it is Pepe LaFleurs best year. Not trending upwards, since then has been the big problem.

The limited window is the reason why I fear changing it all up now. It will be a reset and that window closes, regardless in the process. The past five weeks, make it all the more confusing because of so much injuries and fuck ups at the worst time.

Maybe you’re on something with saying this was all the mailmans fault!!

I’m learning a 2nd half dud is more common than I know, apparently the Eagles have done it a few times too.

What a waste of talent this 2025 Packer team ended up being, most of us could clearly see there was a lot of talent. Heck, even in the loss the Packers looked like the better team last night. But for a lot of the season I remember clearly thinking that the team is actually quite boring to watch. And That’s all Lafleur.

A choke like last night is worse than a blowout. To play so well for the 1st half then to completely abandon the game plan and do next to nothing for the entire 2nd half is a total failure.
