What if the media puke is Dianna Russini? She may not have the prettiest face in the known universe, but damn, her body is hotter than a red dwarf star. If she’s offering a little quid pro quo, it’s gonna be hard to resist her gravitational pull. Just ask Vrabel and McVay - talk about the 3-body problem.

Gannon's approach to defense: via PACKERS.COM - SPOFFORD

"We develop the playbook when we get here," he said. "I told the players this. I said this is going to be a little different for them because as we're teaching them things, they're going to see tape of Philly, Minnesota, Arizona, Green Bay, San Francisco, Buffalo, Alabama, Georgia. I don't really get caught up in … 'This is my playbook. Here's what we're going to run.'"

He confessed there are basic principles, as well as concepts he likes to utilize, but they won't be part of the package if the players can't make them successful. He emphasized the defense needs to look more complicated to the opposition than it really is, and it's his task to simplify the players' jobs so their playstyle – his primary concern – can be effective and impactful.

"I just believe you've got to continually every year try to adapt and solve problems with your guys in mind," Gannon said. "Before scheme, I truly believe it's not what you play, it's how you play.

"It's a players' game, man, you know what I mean? And everybody fits into winning. Everyone's role might be different, but it all fits into winning, and you have to perform your role at a high level."

APB, sorry, I don't even know who Dianna Russini is. Ditto that whatever the reference to Vrabel and McVay is all about. I vaguely recall hearing something scandalous about Vrabel, but I didn't really pay attention.

Sparky, your post tends to make me like Gannon. Basically, the description of his D is the opposite of ego-driven. He's not gonna force square pegs in round holes. He's gonna design his D to maximize the talents of his players - duh, why would a D Coordinator not do that?

I'll go on record. I think Gannon will be at least equal to Halfwit. I like what he is saying even if he isn't as smooth at saying it as the halfwit. I wanted Jimmy, but I'll give Gannon a chance. Hard to hate a guy cuz he failed with Kyler Murry as his QB that he couldn't really get away from. Hopefully he can follow through on putting guys in their best position to succeed. Maybe he uses Cisse as a safety since people here think the coaches have more say over that than the GM. Still would have like to see Quay used similar to Parsons. In many ways I see the dentist actually being what I envisioned Quay as an EDGE would have been. Ah, the offseason where every team is undefeated and not a single player has blown an assignment.

Russini is a reporter. She was caught snuggling with Vrabel at an adult-only resort. Safe to say that they experienced many a-big bangs. And Russini’s firstborn is named Mike. I ain’t saying that the child is Jon Snow, I’m just saying.

Russini is getting crucified for the affair, while Vrabel gets high fives for his infidelity. Unjust. Still, reporters banging their sources ain’t ethical, I reckon. There are rumors that Russini also banged McVay.

My first reaction is to agree with the Mailman if that what he says hahahaha.

My second reaction is to agree with the back-patting of Vrabel and/or McVay - if there is any truth to it, and if the bitch is worth looking at.

AGREE with Joe; I do like him, at least a little bit more, than Joe Barry
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

If you listen to his full interview he says a whole lot of nothing. How did you like his response when a reporter asked him about coaching an elite talent like MIcah Parsons ?

With that being said, it sound like he's always been awkward around the camera...."right"......etc

Just because he says a whole lot of nothing doesn't mean he can't be a great DC

Clearly he is preparing to be a head coach in the future with that type of interview.

I suspect he doesn't want to focus much on Parsons right now because he's not going to have Parsons for a while. The overall success of the season will depend partly on what he is able to do without Parsons.

Before any DC intro press conference, you should have a bingo card including phrases like "flexible", "fast", "aggressive", "turnovers", "fundamentals", and "rush the passer". EVERY DC says the same things.
