  • Official Offseason Workout/OTA's/Minicamp Thread

GREEN BAY – The NFL announced offseason workout dates for all 32 teams Friday, and the Packers' nine-week program begins later this month.

Voluntary workouts start April 20, with organized team activities (OTAs) scheduled for the weeks of May 26, June 1 and June 15.

    OTA Dates: May 26-27, May 29, June 1-2, June 4, June 15-16, June 18

In between the second and third weeks of OTAs, the Packers will conduct their mandatory minicamp from June 9-11.

The Packers also will hold a post-draft rookie minicamp either the first or second weekend following the draft, with specifics to be announced later.

The continued problems with the site are seeming to mirror the struggles of our favorite team. Hopefully the site gets smoothed out because I have more faith in Mad than I do in Brian Gutenkunst.

Happy to be wrong and see a healthy team run to a 1 or 2 seed, but I see a flawed roster that is trying to catch magic by filling gaps with aging players and players that have flashed but aren't consistent. It could all come together, but generally the more "I hope"s you have, the more likely to end up disappointed.

The way the team has finished the last couple of years has really left a sour taste in my mouth. This is a team that now looks good in first quarters and first halves of seasons, then falls apart.

Not sure how you change that mojo, but I'd venture to say that if it happens again, The Flower might wilt.

Maybe, but I'd venture to say, with the talent the Packers have, it likely won't happen again - barring extreme bad luck of injuries, of course.
