What the fuck is going on? Did we only get the 37th pick for Javon?

Not sure how I feel about this. If we were gonna deal Walker why not take Jackson? Driver, Gardner, Fergy, Boerigter doesn't exactly strike fear.

WE got a medium 2nd for him. Do we really think we were going to do any better? I doubt it. I like the trade which we parlayed into 2 picks..I like it..A cancer is now gone and 2 good players will replace him..

like who? Jackson was the 2nd best WR in this draft and thompson would rather fuck arturo freeman.

Traded 36 for 52 and 75 to NE.
Traded Walker for 37.
Traded 37 and 139 for 47, 93, and 148.

So we pick 47, 52, 75, 93 and 148 in these trades. Essentially, we got 5 picks for Walker and #36. I think.

And JWalk was going to be a cancer. To get a high second rounder for that is good, esp. given his injury.

Packers trade Walker to Broncos
The Packers have traded Javon Walker for the Broncos' pick in the second round - pick No. 37. Green Bay then dealt the No. 37 pick and its pick no. 139 to the Falcons for pick Nos. 47, 93, and 148.

Ok so we got Atlanta's late 3rd pick instead of their early one. I got it now...This is great. Classic TT. IMO guys, he's hit a homer so far in this draft with these picks..

Sure, like I said with the picks. The players are a different story.

No one should be surprised by what TT is doing here. The draft is his "thing" and he wants as many picks as he can. He's getting good value in the process. Teams get hot and bothered, like Sherman used to, and focus on a certain player and overpay to get them. Given the many "needs" of this Packer team coming into the draft, acquiring more picks is huge.

Of course, the trick of all this is TT hitting on these extra picks when he chooses. We are either seeing the initial foundation of a SB quality team being picked in this draft....or TT will find himself run out of town in a few years. There is no in between here.
