I think 148 is the correct number

                • Blackmon - so a CB or a WR.

I'd be surprised they'd take another WR. That would be the 3rd, but I guess all these guys can compete for KR/PR, and maybe they want a few bodies to audition for the #4/5 WR spot.

                      Packers go with versatility

With their second fourth-round choice, the 115th overall, the Packers selected Will Blackmon of Boston College. Blackmon has played both wide receiver and cornerback, and also returns kicks. Blackmon stands 6-foot-0 1/4 and weighs 198 pounds.

Blackmon played mostly wide receiver as a senior, but the Packers said they were projecting him as a cornerback.

Blackmon caught 51 passes for 763 yards, a 15.0 average, as a senior. He played corner in nickel and dime packages. Blackmon also returned 22 kickoffs for a 22.2 average and 15 punts for an 8.3 average. He returned one kickoff and one punt for touchdowns, both in his junior year. He also had eight interceptions from his freshman through his junior year, when he played cornerback.

                      • Well, Blackmon doesn't really fill a need, and that is why I like this pick. This is Thompson's first pick of the draft that doesn't fit a need, not that their is anything wrong with that.

                              • 12 overall picks. That's enough guys for a 5 yard penalty.

                                Another trade

The Packers traded their second fourth-round draft pick, acquired previously from St. Louis, to Philadelphia for its fourth and a sixth-round choice. The Packers gave up the 109th pick and received the 115th and 185th picks in return.

That leaves the Packers with 12 overall picks.

The Eagles used the 109th choice to take wide receiver Jason Avant of Michigan.
