I'm joining this game from Russia! Just got online, and reading back through the thread to see what's been going on.

Anyone care to sum it up for me in 50 words or less? The box score is telling me that Favre had an ok night, we can't run for shit, our OL is taking a beating and our DL isn't getting to the QB. However, we're only down by 4 against a pretty good team that's playing its starters, right?

Sorry - I don't see a big trade made by TT - even in the worst case scenario for Driver.

Cuts are coming and I am sure that he will pick up a veteran or two when those happen.

Just don't see him doing anything major right now.

Good: Favre, Pass Pro, James Jones, Secondary, Kampman
Bad: Run Pro, Run D, 3rd stringers
Worst: Driver might be out for a long time.

I still feel like part of the problem with the running game is they rarely run a stretch or go outside the tackles.

How bad?

They haven't said how bad yet. we are in limbo

First team pass blocking - excellant - Favre had all day to throw.
First team run blocking - poor - Jackson was tentative and there were little to no holes.

When we decided to go through the air - Favre carved them up.

Rogers (at the end of the first half) played with the starting O - and also carved them up.

D played well. While not a lot of first team D pressure, we only rushed 4 - they were keeping in 6 - so we had 7 in coverage. Leftwich was only 4 - 13 (or something like that) and that was a reason why.

We are hitting hard - and first team to first team - we were ahead 10 - 0.

Second team and third team have been playing poor.

Not sure. They think its a foot injury. Those can be very bad.
