Lost Driver though. Our ones played and won. Then our twos mixed with ones held our own against their ones. Then our twos lost to their ones, then our threes lost to their twos, then our threes played even with their threes.

I thought we looked like the better team. I still think this team is very good (defense, ST's) with an offnese that will struggle now that Driver is out. We'll still win games. Hopefully we get Driver back at some point in the season.

I don't think there were many players out there that would have made a big difference on this team. Travis Henry was about the only one I can think of.
Ok, whatever dude. If Driver turns out to be hurt, and Thank God there is at least a little hope that he's not hurt bad, but if he is, you still think we're playoff bound?

There is one big IF that just went the other way. You needed about 15 for a great season, now you need 16.

What did you think of the running game? Progressing as you thought it would?

      • I feel pretty good.

We lost the game - but when we played starters vs. starters, we were up 10 - 0.

D looked tough - O-line pass blocked great - JJ looked good - Favre played well.

O-line blocking was poor - need to improve on that - but how much of that is due to the Jags great run D?

DD getting hurt is bad - though I do feel better with Favre smiling at the end - he would know more than anyone else on how Driver was - and if it was bad, I don't think he would be as happy.

        • I suspect we may have seen Ingle Martin's last pass. Pack may go with 2 QB's, because with Driver's injury, they may have to go with 6 WR's.

Let's not brawl here; it's only preseason. Since I lowered my expectations a month or so ago I'm much more at peace.

I'm going into this year to watch a defense develop and watch Favre break records.

            Wins are a bonus.
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

            • I really think there will be a bunch of veteran receivers released as the cuts come down. The Pats have 12 receivers - they have to cut some.

                • No reason to lose to a Jerk like Del Rio.

Del Rio was contaminated with purple slime long ago and it still shows.
It is another disgusting home loss that no one should be happy about.

Shameful tackling by the defense, again.

Why McCarthy can't get these fools to use a shoulder and wrap up is inexcusable!!

Rodgers inability to get first downs in the 3rd quarter cost the game.

Why call Herron's number on 3rd and 1? Let him run on second down and let White have it on 3rd down.

The second half was so poor that many of these bums should be cut tomorrow.

                  I loathe Del Rio.

                  • I thought the running game looked good last week. We just went up against two of the best DT's in the game and they were playing the run, allwoing the pass. We still moved the ball on them, taking what is given. I'm OK with points no matter how they come. If a team wants to stop the run and they are good at it, I'm OK with taking the pass.

As far as our team, Driver was a big part of our offense but that is part of the game. Guys go down. A lot of teams are going to lose guys between now and the end of the sesaon. It forces Favre to share the ball and get comfortable with the other guys. We'll see how it goes I guess. We still have a very good defense, what looks to be a good ST's and an offense that is now without their only proven weapon. It hurts but I'm not going to assume that they are done.

I sense a bit of animosity here...But the first team tackled rather well I thought.

Completely agree, but I'd highly doubt TT takes a flyer on a vet receiver that would help more now and sacrifice a young player who might develop later.

                          • Whoa CaliCheese - the Jags still had their starters in the third - going against our seconds. You should expect to lose that battle.

As far as the tacking is concerned - most of that was done by the third string and will make the cuts easier.

Some of the seconds - Bishop - Rouse - seemed to hit and wrap well. I still feel pretty good.
