haha, we had the best (BY FAR THE BEST) preseason that we've had in three years. This team acctually looks strong at every starting position other than RB of which we don't really have a full read on yet but we do know it's not strong. These cuts aren't likely to bring much nor are you likely to know if they did but I don't know why you are panicking the way you are with filling needs. It's going to come together, sometimes you rely on one area more than the other untill you find a solution at the area of need. It's about being oppertunistic.

I know we differ and you probably think I'm dead to the world how patient and willing to suffer I am with some things and in your experience you probably know that you get burned when you don't dot every eye and cross every T but I have reasons for it that I go into from time to time.

I understand you guys, there is logic here that would apply to a lot of areas in life but I don't think it applys here like it has applied to all of the success in your career and life RG. This is a different animal. Preparation is important, but it's not the preparation that you are used to. I can't really explain it well, but I've heard some of your views and I have thoughts as to why I don't think they fit what an NFL GM does but it's a sort of long post and I'm supposed to be leaving to visit my brother and his new baby soon so it will have to wait

He dislocated an elbow in the preseason game against the Ravens.

I have no performance issues... NONE. :P

        Back on topic.....

Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports the Cincinnati Bengals have traded an undisclosed 2008 draft choice to the St. Louis Rams for backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

CUNDIFF OUT, PRATER IN AS FALCONS' KICKER by Michael David Smith

Adam Schefter of NFL Network also reports that the Falcons have released kicker Billy Cundiff, meaning Matt Prater has won the kicking competition.

Prater made two of three field goal attempts and showed a strong leg on kickoffs in the preseason. He has never played a game in the regular season.

Cundiff spent five games on the Saints' roster last year as a kickoff specialist and played four previous seasons for the Cowboys.

            You can find decent players.

Current Packers that were obscure cut players are Cullen Jenkins, Donald Lee, Ruvell Martin, Atari Bigby, Jarret Bush, Charlie Peprah. Gilbert Brown was an obscure cut guy. So was Hunter Hillenmeyer. Scott Wells was cut, but Green Bay brought him back on the PS.

Dolphins cut FB Cory Schlesinger and Az Hakim.

Schlesinger would be an OK fullback. Hakim faded once he got to Motown from St. Louis.

I saw Hakim score on a PR, a KR & a 50 yds bomb from Warner in the same game agaisnt the Bengals. At the time, he was one of the fastest guyxs in the league. I doubt he has anything closer to that speed left.

Agreed. I've no idea if the guy competing for the 4th safety spot for the Cleveland Browns is worth looking at!

Some names I recognize, and some I remember thinking they were good players because I saw them do something or other, maybe a few years ago - but otherwise...

The Bucs are saying QB Chris Sims will either be released or traded.

On the other hand, this is what TT and the Green Bay Packers scouting department (and the GM and scouting dept. of every other team in the league) are paid to do.

Arizona released their 3rd round pick this year, LB Buster Davis.

The Broncos released WR Quincy Morgan.

Nobody has heard any rumors about the Packers cuts? Where's GBR when we need her.
