Seriously, doesn't your perspective "assume" that the remaining 50 minutes of the game would be played in EXACTLY the same manner as the 1st 10 minutes. What this means to me is that we'd have to either play mistake free football, or the other team would have to make at least one more mistake than we did.Originally posted by JustinHarrellIf you consider the score subjective, yeah.Originally posted by retailguyYour statement that we "won" the preseason #1 on #1 matchups is a bit subjective, isn't it?
My whole point is that I thought we WOULD NOT get much outta these cuts. We're playing with at least 50 of the guys we've got. The three new ones might help next year.
Point being, it take SIXTY minutes of football to win the game. We haven't seen the #1 offense do that yet. There will be games where they play like they have in the preseason, and there will likely be games where they won't.
Your point is subjective, whether you consider the score... or you don't.

Packers trade for RB Ryan Grant of NYG.

Packers trade for running back
The Green Bay Packers reportedly have acquired running back Ryan Grant in a trade from the New York Giants.
The Newark (N.J.) Star-Ledger reported that the Packers have given up an undisclosed draft pick for the former Notre Dame running back. Grant, who missed all of last season due to a hand injury sustained in a nightclub incident, rushed for 90 yards on 18 carries in the preseason.
The 6-foot-1 and 218-pound Grant will give the Packers some insurance in case Brandon Jackson (concussion), Vernand Morency (knee) and Noah Herron (knee) are slow to recover from their injuries.
The Star-Ledger on its website said the Packers had offered one of their kickers, Mason Crosby or Dave Rayner, to the Giants instead of the draft pick.more freedom, less government. Go Sarah!
