Maybe the Packers fumble the opening kickoff and the Vikes punch it in from the 5 with All Day Peterson. The kickoff is returned to the 17. Favre's first pass is picked off by Sharper and taken to the house with the score now 14-0 with 13:00 minutes left in the first quarter. Doesn't suck to be a Viking fan in this scenario...(which of course I just dreamed up, like yours).

This would still not spell doom. In the first quarter anything can happen and there is still plenty of time to come back. I wouldn't mind seeing this happen and then the Packers rallying back for the win. The loss would be crushing and demeaning to all vikings fans (well at least more then usual).

The Vikings have done a decent job over the last 2 seasons of being ahead after the first quarter. Their problem then starts after teams make adjustments while the Vikes either don't or make poor ones. I wouldn't be surprised if they get a lead after the first, I'm just confident that when adjustments are made, MM will run circles around Childress.

I think for the most part we are too overconfident. We are going into the Helldome. The Vikings DL could tear our OL apart and make this a long day.

Do I think we'll win ? Heck yes.

But it would not surprise me if this is a very very hard game.
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

The Vikings aren't going to score enough to make it a game.

                I'm overconfident as hell.

And I'm overconfident about being overconfident.

Lackluster game, but a Packer W, Favre runs one in from three yards out, only TD of the game. Crosby with 4 Fg's. Favre gets a chance to break the record at home, against the Bears, on my birthday, at the game I'm going to.

I think we beat them and beat them bad. I could see McCarthy running up the score in this one.

                        GB - 10
                        MN - 9
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

                                The pattern:

                                Favre to Jennings #400
                                Favre to Jennings #420

                                Favre to Jennings #421
