Screw it Zig, wear your Packer colors with pride. If they would of won they would of said the refs didn't effect the outcome. You should shove the win down the D.C. Young Professionals' throats.Originally posted by MJZiggyGreat. They blame the loss on the PI on Thrash during CW's Illegal Contact.
They also think, to accommodate their lack of OL depth, that the roster size should be expanded to 65.

Taylor? What Taylor?Originally posted by Deputy NutzFunny, Partial told me last week he was the most over-rated player in the league. Saw him play like two times or something.Originally posted by b bulldogTaylor is a special player.
edit:
Oh, Sean Taylor. He is. He gives up more big plays than anyone in the league. Last year he led the league in touchdowns given up. He's a good player and an upgrade over Collins because he makes plays, but so many people treat him like he is gods gift to the Redskins. Today's 4th quarter pick from Favre was a gimme. I could have picked that off. I didn't see the first one. How can anyone argue that someone who gives up more big plays the Ahmad Carroll is a special player?!?!?!?! Maybe he is this year, but I was talking about historically, not a brief glimpse into this year.

Packers won - I think we'll all take it.
I admit; I get cranky, during the game, when Packers play badly. Favre is right though; this team can & must get better 'cos in december/january and dare I say: FEBRUARY, one dimentional teams won't cut it.
The Packers D stepped up in the second half and won the game. I've been too hard on the D but I still believe that they're not great...yet.PackerRats Thompson D. Yahoo Fantasy Football Champ 2019,

You went to the game but didn't meet up with us?!?!Originally posted by ND72WOW...It feels like forever since I"ve been on here for a game, went to the Charger game, AT The Brewer game for the Vikes, and then went to the Bears game.
Unfortunately, I'm not feeling it today. Spitz & Moll starting at C & G....Redskins are a GOOD tough defense. Offense is pretty good. I expect a lot of power runs, which GB struggles against, and a lot of playaction passes to Cooley over Poopinga.

(actually around halftime I was worried that might new gear might have some bad mojo or something considering I wore it last week and we lost and we weren't doing so well in the 1st half. I almost went to change, but had to leave so I didn't. Glad to know it wasn't me."Greatness is not an act... but a habit.Greatness is not an act... but a habit." -Greg Jennings

Feel the same way for the most part, Ras. Vowed after the World Series cancellation that I would never attend another MLB game.Originally posted by RastakWell, since you asked I will give my honest opinion.
Young readers please turn away, baseball used to be my favorite sport and I have strong feelings....
sorry kids, but I had to give it straight.
Definitely was tempted at times, especially with the past Brewers' season. Even with free/discounted ticketes. But I've stuck to my guns. The day they ran Fay Vincent out and let Bud be their hired stooge, look what happened to the game.
Guys like Bart Giamatti and Fay Vincent were caretakers of the game. Guys like Selig and the other owners care more about the money coming in. </rant>-digital dean

We spend more money on our field this year than we did in FA and our field looked like an ice skating rink today. Is this half grass/half synthetic stuff supposed to be slippery like that? OR were the players simply not fitted with the proper cleats?

In the tour we took before the Bears game, the tour guide claimed the new turf was 95% natural grass and just 5% synthetic blades. Are you sure about the 50/50 ratio?

Let's not split hairs....fake grass is fake grass.....

Actually, OPF I honestly don't know what the ratio is. I just heard that 20 million synthetic fibers stitch the grass together. So, I'm just wondering if that contributes to the field being more slippery vs all grass? If it's only 5%, then I doubt that is the case.Originally posted by oregonpackfanGBRulz,Originally posted by GBRulzWe spend more money on our field this year than we did in FA and our field looked like an ice skating rink today. I thought all the synthetic stuff was supposed to do is get tangled up in the grass roots so the field doesn't divot and get torn apart when it's rainy (needing to be replaced as soon as the weather turns bad.) See Tar? I can be taking pics and paying attention to what's going on around me at the same time...
