So what's your plan for the room? Keeping the whirlpool?
Everything must go. Everything. Here's the plan, a SkinBasket original. Shower and floors in travertine. Vanity in dark brown with a crema marfil marble top. The frameless glass shower overlaps the tub surround to provide a place to sit your ass down in the shower with body sprayers.

You're gonna love having the toilet in its own space--had that once and it was very nice. So the shower is gonna be one of those that has 80 showerheads?

I don't know for sure but the ex's parents looked into one for a guest area that had it's own water heater and was not used often but they ended up getting a regular water heater and just keeping it turned off instead.

Nice layout. That toilet area looks kinda narrow though. From sheetrock to sheetrock looks to be maybe 28"? I suppose you need 3' by code between the sink and the lav wall?

The measurements on the plan are just original estimates. I think the actual code is how wide the "water closet" is. We'll actually have just under three feet between the vanity and the wall in the end though. And all that new wall will need to be decorated...

When Dad is at work there is no such thing as Code. He flaunts Code.
