So I'm sitting here watching Idol tonight and one of the kids hits this note. The dog turns to the TV and starts whining. Then she got up and left the room. I'm sensing she wasn't impressed.

"Investigators say they've never dealt with a naked man attacking a robot before." So starts perhaps the most insane local news story we've ever heard. According to an ABC affiliate in Florida, a disgruntled man, sporting nothing more than his birthday suit and an AK-47, opened fire on a robot last week, after threatening to shoot himself and anyone who crossed the threshold of his home. The $65,000 SWAT bot was sent in to investigate, and captured every inch of the man on video before being pumped full of bullets. Deputies say the man eventually surrendered fully-clothed and was taken for a mental evaluation. No word yet on when or if the footage will be released in a Robo COPS: Disrobed and Dangerous Special Edition. For now, you can check out video at the source link below.

HAH! BOSOX are 0 and 6... next up... Yankees... at 4-2... just one behind Baltimore and tied with Toronto...Go YANKS! I think this is Boston's worst start since the 1940's.... but as much acrimony as there is between these two teams, I will say this... at least my friend can attend Red Sox games in Boston wearing his "Yanks Gear" and not get beat into a coma like Bryan Stow was in Los Angeles. It's BASEBALL PEOPLE...FAMILY... KIDS ARE THERE! At least at Safeco I feel safe... no matter the gear I sport... and I sport "Yankee Gear" at every game I attend. God Bless Mr. Stow and his family...

OMG.. I got pulled into that garbage tonight myself... absolutely repulsed and mesmerized at the same time... horrific really.... but I COULD NOT LOOK AWAY!!!! Sidebar- I always want to see who in the world could possibly be shorter than Ryan... even with his "lifts"....
