I own AMD and MRVL right now in the AI/Tech space. Marvel is on a really nice track.

Micron has everything going for it, but the market refuses to respect it. I own a small stake.

I wish I knew which stocks in biotech would succeed because some will got parabolic, but I can't for the life of me figure it out so I just have money in Merck for being undervalued and steadily growing.

Bretsky I like all your top holdings. AMZN and GOOG could explode if they win some of the quantum races they are in. But regardless they will be steady and profitable. Those are my stocks I love to grind with while still having a shot at outsized returns.

All investing is value investing (you need growth to outpace current price). I can get behind stocks trading at very high multiples if the growth outlook supports it. Generally I like stocks like Merch or Fiserv though where the market has irrationally pushed them well below value while the company shows no cracks or weaknesses to justify it. If Merck/Fiserv have a rough patch, they are already trading at under 15x so its sort of baked in. But its baked in while not being expected to happen. Thats the ultimate "value" play in my book. Fiserv has averaged 15% growth for 20 years without a single negative year (almost zero stocks can claim this). Projections by analysts that hit 91% are for the next 3 years to look just like that. The stock was slightly overvalued before tariff d day at 24x. It cratered with no rebound to 14x for no real reason. I can't say it rebounds fast or even outperforms PLTR in the next 2 years for sure, but I'm about 99% sure it will over the next 5. Math says so and math doesn't lie. The only thing that could make me wrong is if a) PLTR has a breakthrough not even its supporters expect or b) Fiserv has a huge hiccup that no one is foreseeing at the moment. Sure any of that COULD happen, but I have to play the odds here. Odds are that Fiserv pushes back up over 15x and with growth gives you 20% annually over the next 3 years. Odds are someone gets rational on PLTR and it gets sawed in half at some point over the next 3 years.

I took earnings on PLTR. I sold half at like 80 IIRC which in retrospect as a mistake but still great earnings, and I sold the rest at about 155. Made a killing obviously. I kept a little bit since I love them as a good American company. I have to be more relentless with my investments though and will get back in when the prices/earnings come back to reality.

TSM projecting 80% growth over same time trades at 28x. I'd short Palantir, but then it would hit 200 by years end and I'd lose big on irrational behavior.

Your research is impressive and I enjoy reading your stock takes and how you target companies. I think my high growth and risk/reward mentality would drive you crazy. For what it's worth I'm pretty heavily stocked in retirement.

So I have a ROTH IRA and if I lost it all I would be ok since I've saved from my early years on right off the bat and current retirmenet plan is get kind employer wise matching as well

My most recent purchases have been Taiwan Semiconductor (very confident), Broadcomm (verh confident), Micron (fairly confident), Cloudflare (fairly confident)

AND NOW MY WILDCARDS WITH UPSIDE

Crisper Therapeutics (decent confidence), JOBY Aviation (flyer), and ARCHER AVIATION (flyer)...........YES, I have been reading about Flying Car Stocks and started taking positions in the last two

MORE STOCKS I'm reading about and I think want to take small positions in are

    SOUN ....Soundhound
    BBAI ......BigBear AI

You would be very familiar with my top holdings....NVDA, CRWD, MSFT, AMD, PANW, AMZN,GOOG....so the core of this is very solid and profitable and now I'm looking to take some home run swings.

That crappy PPAL is the only stock I'm at a loss right now (although just a couple bucks per ahare)

IN what I call my fun money stock account, I just have five stocks that I invested about 1200 in each one

THey are Square, ServiceNow, Marvel, PLTR, and SOFI. Bought Square and Service now very early......I'm claiming LUCKY on thease 5 as I timed tham all pretty good and the current value is 5X more than I bought those stocks for.

and YES< I know I should sell PLTR (bought a bunch at 15, but gosh it just keeps going up so it's hard to do ))

Would be curious on anybody throwing out any futuristic stocks ......the high risk/high reward for me to research.

I'm thinking CRISPR could be HUGE. But always looking for more ideas

And still reading about the Quantum Computing stocks of IONQ, RGIT (Rigetti) and QBTS (DWave)

Elevance health (formerly Anthem). Price has over reacted to an off year. ELV has grown for 18 of last 21 years with 2 of the "down" years being 1%. This fiscal year its shrunk 9% for the same reason as UNH, government payments shrinking. They are too important and good at what they do for it to affect them long term and analysts (who have been 91% accurate) predict 26/27 to have 9/18% growth. Shares plummeted from 14x historical valuation to 9x currently. No reason to think it can't bounce back and adding in growth and dividend you could see 90% return by the end of '27. Even if you only achieve halfway back to normal it would be a very nice 2.5 year run.

I have made a lot of money with ABBV the last seven years, but not sure how long I will stay with it. The yield has been in the neighborhood of 3.5% recently, which is nice if the stock price grows, but I'm not sure about the long range growth outlook.
ABBV is currently about 17x with good cash flow and a pipeline. Best analysts are projecting about 15% growth next 3 years so I would say it definitely has room to run yet. I'd expect it to at least hold that multiple so adding in the dividend looking at maybe 17% for forseeable future. Thats one I'm not letting go of yet.

NVDA, NEE, ABBV, TSM, AMD all have rallied nicely. I also got into NVO at that time, but its only up like 3% since. I'll probably unload most of those names soon and move back into my boring income stocks....its what I do and its worked for 30 years so why change.

I'll give you more credit than "lucky", but if you hold Palantir for the next 3 years you will be well down from where you are now. If you want a good index fund try VFLO. Its the only one I own. Small fees, incredible metrics for investment and not too diversified at 50 stocks. Most funds are so "diversified" they can't outperform the S&P.
