Should the Packers sign Asomugha....
... and trade Tramon Williams? Or, ... move Woodson to a high-bred DB role of some sort, maybe playing fewer snaps. Or, ... trade Sam Shields? Or, ... trade, release or "retire" Woodson? Or, ... keep Woodson, Williams and Shields, get rid of Underwood or Lee, and not worry about who is a starter and who's pride might be hurt by a changed role in 2011, figuring that Woodson is not likely to be back for a 15th season in 2012 and the top 3 corners will then be Williams, Asomugha and Shields in 2012?... -

Well, this is the year - or so 99% of the fans in Detroit think - that the Lions get a big, meaningful "W" on Thanksgiving Day. Many many talking heads have reminded folks that this is reminiscent of the 1962 Turkey Day game - the 10 - 0 Packers coming in to town - and in that game the Lions' defensive line, lead by Alex Karras, shredded the Packer offensive line, dumping Bart Starr over and over and leading the Leos to a whupping of the Pack. Umm, for the second season in a row the Packers were able to lay an egg and still win the ball game. The reason this year was the same as last year, Charles Woodson. He was responsible for three turnovers that allowed the Packers to control the ball game. On offense the Packers looked disjointed all day long. The Packers offense was plagued by penalties by the offensive line, and those penalties were caused by a breakdown in technique across the board. Wells and Lang were the only offens... -

Met several PACKER PLAYERS last night - first impressions.
My wife and I went to Greg Jennings' Celebrity Golf Extravaganza last night. Only the dinner part, not while they were golfing. And I had the opportunity to meet a lot of players, as they were just walking around the event. Now I will post my impressions of each player, but I want to make it clear, I KNOW that players are constantly bombarded by fans for pictures and autographs and can't please everyone.
