Many have slammed Favre for his work ethic. While I understand most were directing that at training camp....thought this article was interesting.

Interestingly, Bert's last 10 games are polar opposites. 2 TDs and 9 picks in NYJ's last 5 games (1-4 record) and 9 TDs and 2 picks (1 was a tipped ball) for Minny (5-0 record). Merely more proof that he is THE difference maker

Why don't you go look up his stats over the past 1/4 of the season from the past 4-5 years? There is a slide every year. Now, this year he has lucked out with the way the Viking schedule is set up and only having 1 cold weather game at Chicago. Please don't act like last year was some type of anomaly.

Well, it basically was. 2007 he took a team on his back to the championship game. Without his steady play I highly doubt they would have overcame the 0-14 deficit they were in against Seattle.

yeah, he was a big reason that they got into the playoffs and he played well in the seattle game, but not in the giants game, nor the bears game that year either.

i think someone posted that his stats fell that year late in the year too. and he def choked when the time came. that wasn't so good.

i wonder the % of teams that start 5-0 that don't make the playoffs? I'd think it pretty small...

Favre's dedication to the game and his team remains a question mark that alarms me. I've only seen him as giving all he can. He knows he's running out of time to be on another Super Bowl winning team and he's going all out this season. Maybe he believes if he gives all he can he'll be the difference maker. Who could knock that?
