The team he played LAST season? You mean that imploded? That had players dissing Favre. You mean the team that he retired from? Then unretired. Yeah, Favre surely acted in the best interest of the JETS. LOLOriginally posted by g4orceOriginally posted by Tyrone BiggunsNo. A QB that can't commit. A QB who waffles. A qb unable to do the required work. that aint' in the best interest of the TEAM.Originally posted by g4orceOriginally posted by Tyrone BiggunsWhy would they? They acted in the best interest of the team. Bert did not.Originally posted by MadtownPackerI wonder if history will be kind enough to forget TT and M3's part in all this mess. Or do they get mental asterisks too?
They acted in what they thought was the best interest of the team. We will see how that all pans out when they are on the unemployment line.
Because it doesn't work out doesn't mean they were wrong. Back to logic class for you.
Well the TEAM he's playing for sure seems to make it work quite well. So did the TEAM he played on last season up until his injury. So did the 2007 TEAM that he was a QB for before that.
Offseason shit is for the birds when u got a QB that can teach the coaches the offense.
TEAM. Not Bert. Best interest of the TEAM. Not Bert.

What is the vibe in other states?Originally posted by Scott CampbellI think for many people the defining moment of his career will be him getting boo'd at Lambeau field for being a traitor.
So thank you to everyone at the game who performed their civic duty and let him have it.
Most of the people I deal with in WI on a business level feel there are two sides to every story and are not that bitterTERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

The folks out here are too pissed off about the Skins to care. Yet they're stepping VERY carefully around me and the other Pack fan this week..."Greatness is not an act... but a habit.Greatness is not an act... but a habit." -Greg Jennings

SC doesnt have any idea of the vibe, he is just an upset child who doesnt understand how his hero could ever play for another teamOriginally posted by MadtownPackerDude I live here and I was in SF just last weekend. Favrebowl II was football topic peeps here discussed so if you want to say what utah thinks let me know. Otherwise quit sounding like a woman scorned.Originally posted by Scott CampbellNot in the Bay Area. Most people I talk to are just kind of sick of the story period, and aren't that interested in blaming anybody.
And he just wants to stir the pot and rile up people who actually care about things.Baah

I am not sure your location gex, but in my neck of the woods, it a minority rooting for Farve. Although that will only last until he leaves the Vikings.Originally posted by gexPeople up here in Wisco are for the most part on Favre's side, nobody likes what TT has done to this winning organization.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

He's right. Every single day on WSSP (the big sports radio network in Wisconsin) they have the "sound off line", where callers come and give a Rome style take. I would say 75% of the takes are anti-TT. Maybe 5% are pro-TT. The rest are about other stuff.Originally posted by Bossman641Originally posted by gexPeople up here in Wisco are for the most part on Favre's side, nobody likes what TT has done to this winning organization.

Come on P. You are smarter than that. Who is more likely to call into a radio station, someone who wants to bitch or someone who wants to say yea great job?Originally posted by PartialHe's right.
